Jarren Williams thread #6

That's right, we were a respectable team and most importantly a competent offense with him. Maybe with equal or greater weapons than those previous teams and a better offensive coordinator we might just be fine with Jarren!

Greater or equal weapons? slow down there boss.

That team had Duke Johnson, Ahmon Richards, Stacey Coley, Phillip Dorsett, David Njoku, Clive Walford, Braxton Berrios, and FAR better offensive line.

Al Golden was a terrible coach but his eye for talent was seriously underrated. Had a lot of really good football players on that team

AR never played for Golden.

Brad Kaaya is the All-time leader in passing yards, 2nd in passing TD's & won us our first bowl game in 10 years.

Stop disrespecting Kaaya as if he was a scrub. He put up good numbers here despite playing for Folden & in the archaic Richt offense.

If Jarren is anything like Kaaya in terms of accuracy & production we'll win the ACC.

Preach!!!

I think Jarren is like a Bard Kayaak. We heard countless times that he could make all the trows, gave everyone a shot at the ball and had a nice touch. He was green tree 7v7 and 11v11 no contact All American and was even a dark horse per ESPN to win the heismen. We all saw how his soft attitude turned out when he got hit. I don't know how soft Jarren is in comparison to Bard but I see a lot of similarities on their hype and traits to think otherwise.

The real issue is he doesn't have nearly as great a nickname as Baard Kaayak.

Kayak went 0-4 against FSU

He killed all momentum in 16 with that horrific INT in the endzone

0-3, and are we really just going to give Badgely a pass for missing the extra point in 2016 or The OL for allowing Walker to shoot through? Are you really going to blame Kaaya in 15 for throwing 405 & 3 TDs to give us the lead and No D allows Cook, THE ONLY OFFENSIVE WEAPON AROUND FOR FSU THAT GAME to go for 222 on the ground & 3 TDs?? Are you reeeeally going to blame a True Freshman in Kaaya in 14, where our defense couldn’t hold a 2 TD lead, including allowing the go ahead TD run by Cook?

Kaaya was good for us, and finally when Richt took the cuffs off the boy, he started looking like the kid who came in to his Jr yr w hype

Kaaya was the best QB we have had in this program since Berlin, that man had to deal with horrible coaching a a 3 play, playbook. He had a great arm and a lot of talent.

My only thing with him was he was a statue, but that was just his style, he had amazing arm talent.

Kaaya was a smart QB, not only on the field but also with understanding the circumstances that he was facing. I remember someone posting on here about running into Mama Kaaya last year at he food truck with her telling him the reason Brad left early was because his coach(es) had no clue as to what they were doing and that he was regressing.
This is a new era. We have a coach that is serious about the direction of this program and not inclined to take part in nepotism with a position as important as QB coach. Whoever wins the job will be in far better shape than either Malik or NKosi were last year. The coaching decisions across the board were suspect and likely caused the players to throw in the towel early on the 2018 season. Welcome to TNM! I have faith that it will be different because it truly appears to be different. Let’s just buckle up for the ride!

Kaaya was good for us?

Biggest thing he accomplished in 3 years was beating a WVU team in some who cares bowl.

In 3 years did he beat one team that finished ranked?

And fvcked all of that good offensive talent up with that joke bull**** defense

What an idiotic assessment.

Kaaya's problem was his lack of mobility....and Richt deserves blame for trying to force fit an offense around Kaaya that didn't fit his skillset.

Regardless, one of the LAST things you can call Kaaya is "soft". The got crushed in a game, had a tooth knocked out, and kept playing. The kid was not soft.
