Jarren Williams thread #6

Kayak went 0-4 against FSU

He killed all momentum in 16 with that horrific INT in the endzone

Then he drove the team down to score at the end and then we couldn't execute a simple PAT to force OT. The year before we had them on the ropes as well and Golden went conservative and then Cook happened.

Jarren is faster than N’kosi. Kaaya wasn’t faster than Marino.

Also, there was already a thread named Jarren Williams.

Kaaya also wasn't clutch. Some guys have "it"; Brad didn't. Good kids and padded his stats nicely, but with a game on the line—that kid just couldn't get it done.

Kaaya was the best QB we've had here since Dorsey. Should have beaten FSU a couple times if Golden didn't go conservative and the OL could have held up for a PAT. We've had a lot of QBs to bash in the last 15+ years but Kaaya isn't one of them.
Exactly. They get on him for not beating FSU, when in 2015 he was the only one on the team who did anything to allow us to even be in that game. The defense stunk, our running game was non-existent. He kept us in that game with is 400+ yds passing, his 3 passing TDs, and no interceptions...our running game totaled fewer than 50 yds, and our defense was horrible.....but somehow it was his fault that he "never beat FSU"...

By "drove the team down" you mean that Berrios returned a punt inside the red zone and he threw one pass, right?

OMG!

He had ONE drive in the 2nd half that only would have TIED the game

2nd half drives
INT
3 plays 2 yards
5 plays 25 yards
7 plays 18 yards
4 plays 16 yards TD

Holy Jesus! Impressive!

Dude sucked under pressure, had two chances against FSU the two years before to win the game and he collapsed

Guy got lucky in his last FSU game Berrios returned a punt inside the 20

The defense held FSU to 9 points in the 2nd half

After FSU took the lead in the 4th Kaaya had two chances to win the game

He proceeded to:
4 plays, 9 yards
7 plays 23 yards, downs

Well done

The defense allowed over 500 yards. Allowed Cook to run through them like a hot knife through butter, for 222 yards.

Our leading rusher had 33 yards on 15 carries.

One, and ONLY ONE player on the team was the reason we were even in the game in the first place, and that was Kaaya.

If not for Kaaya's play, you wouldn't be talking about a potential comeback. We would have already been completely blown out long before the game was over.

Your savior of a QB had two chances to win the game and gagged

Bye Felecia

BTW Rashawn Scott bulying FSU CBs and Coley making ridiculous catches also helped but that doesnt fit yuor narrative

I think Jarren is like a Bard Kayaak. We heard countless times that he could make all the trows, gave everyone a shot at the ball and had a nice touch. He was green tree 7v7 and 11v11 no contact All American and was even a dark horse per ESPN to win the heismen. We all saw how his soft attitude turned out when he got hit. I don't know how soft Jarren is in comparison to Bard but I see a lot of similarities on their hype and traits to think otherwise.

I'm not saying he was elite, I'm just saying he was good enough to win more games then we did with him as QB. Rosier won 10 games because the team overall was better and we had some luck. Kaaya was the best QB since Dorsey and it's not close.

I'll take senior Brock Berlin over any type of Kaaya

Kaaya never lead a 2nd half comeaback in his ENTIRE CAREER

I don't care if your HC is a monkey, how is the world is that possible

Kaaya lost every game against FSU even when we jumped out to a lead. Not to mention could never carry the team to a come back win... the worst qb I’ve ever seen start for Miami. Only Rosiers last year tops
