What’s the problem??Huh?

Do you watch the games or just wait for the final stats to come out. Anyone who watched JW play the first 4 games clearly sees a guy concerned with not throwing ints as oppose to being a gamer and going out making plays. Your consistent posting of stats carries no wait unless he is leading us to victories. That's not the case but you insist on annoying us with bum numbers to try and validate your love affair with mediocrity. Let me hit you with a headline, "NUMBERS LIE". Why the numbers aren't telling you he doesn't see the field well or that he lacks confidence to pull the trigger on wide open deep balls or that he does not have good pocket awareness. I already see you throwing out final stats at the end of the season and comparing them to last season. Whoop di dam doo if it does not keep the chains moving on 3rd downs and racking up wins. He may not be the worst of our problems but he's not giving us hope when he takes the field. What does he need 2/3 years to become what you presume he will be? JW is boring and until you can produce on 3rd down and in the redzone, as qb, he will continue to be part of the problem. Pull me up a stat that says he's a gamer and he will go win a game or two with his play. And exactly, we aren’t Clemson (a top 2 program the last 4 years) but yet they still struggled the whole game. Anyone can struggle
Most of jarrens yards come from passes beyond 5 yards but according to you overreacting he REFUSES to throw beyond 5 yards.

this was before the cmu game of his yardage breakdown and where he’s throwing it to. Vs cmu he was 7-10 of throws 10-20 yards for 167 yards

this was a breakdown through these 5 qbs through the first 3 games of where they are throwing it to in terms of spent of passes. Not alot different than a lot of the other qbs.
With all that being said, I’m not saying Jarren is perfect and can’t improve. He hasn’t been perfect but he hasn’t been nearly as bad as some of you are insinuating. Did you forget last year when we had qbs barely even throwing for 165 yards per game? Do you know how pathetic that was? Jarren needs to continue to work on his game as they are obvious areas of improvement such as deep ball accuracy, working on the internal clock and running more.

the main difference is....all of them have deep td passes on record ...Jarren has to show the ability to wing it deep....especially when everybody and they momma see we have guys open deep on a O struggling to score points...gotta take some shots..Comparing the best 3 offenses to our offense seems kind of meaningless to me. Also neither of those 3 qbs have played defenses as good as Miami did vs uf and unc. Even Trevor Lawrence and Jamie newman(wake forest qb who is probably the best in the conference) didn’t do that well vs unc
full blown FSU fan nowadaysJarren won the competition by default bc this system calls for a game manager. If we ran a Briles/Malzahn veer and shoot type offense with Kosi we would be putting up 40. If we ran a Riley Air Raid type offense with Tate we would be exciting to watch plus putting up 40. Miami will not be back until we run a true spread offense. Manny will not make it to year 4 if we don't run the spread by year 3.
This next game will tell us whether Enos will be our OC next year. If he doesn't put more emphasis on the "spread" part in his "spread coast", he's gone.
I believe Manny is the answer but we are in the most talent rich area in Florida and Manny has put together the worst recruiting staff of the Big 3. Say what u want about Willie but he put together a **** of a staff and by far the best recruiting staff of the Big 3.
When those 2 other qbs ahead of him are Justin fields and Trevor Lawrence that’s a tough company to be at the same level. I do Think he had a better senior year than fields thoughSaw him in HS. Thought he was good, but not the level of a few other GA QBs. That said, Jarren is hardly our problem. Would I like to see him take more shots down field? Absolutely. He and Enos along with OL play need to improve here. After the QB we had the last couple of years, and no disrespect to him intended, I am grateful we are operating at a higher % rate, by far. Also, as has been said ad infinitum, get in shotgun.
The kid has played in 4 games and two of those on the road against hostile crowds. Can we please wait until the end of the year to see if he is capable of leading this team in the future.
We'll see, but so far, hes played exactly as predicted by many (myself included) in the spring. A gun shy passer who wont win or lose you a game. If he had transferred, he wouldve landed at GT or somewhere at that level.
I'll stand by my comments and if proven wrong I'll happily and proudly admit it.
But he ain't the guy. Preciate the response.
What are you talking about? Against UNC he drove the team down almost 50 yds with 1:01 to the 32 yd line, and had a chance to tie the game but Bubba missed the FG. That's not a Performance by a Game Manager

This sh*t is getting ridiculous man. Ruining the best Miami board
Good points...but true frosh and redshirts are performing all over the country and some do not have no where near the talent at the skill position surrounding them. I agree that coach Anos has a tight grip on doing it his way regardless of results. With that said, why would Anos make comments about him missing guys open downfield if he didn't want him to take those shots.Jarren is a freshman qb who was benched his first season with no shot to compete for the starting job.
He was in a heated battle with two other young quarterbacks and wasn’t named starter until a week before the season.
Above everything else, his coaches are drilling him to protect the ball.
How is there any way to be surprised by his overly cautious play?
If the coaches gave him the green light to cut loose he would. This is the drawback of how the offensive staff is teaching.
He couldn’t get in the game last year and he saw how quick N’Kosi got yanked for throwing picks. The back ups are still nipping at his heels and he knows they are good.
All of that and he is playing for an oc who expects the same results in start number 1 as start number 40.
So after game 6 we should expect to start seeing some command of the O and becoming more of a playmaker. All we really asking is to just progress a little into that every 2 or 3 games...LOL nah, not 2 or 3 years. how about 5, 6 games? holy f*ck

Yup, those are the obvious ones. There were others that went to smaller schools that I thought were on JW's level at least.. His coach is a very good promoter of his players. Nothing wrong with that. TBH, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well JW is doing and hope he continues to improve. When those 2 other qbs ahead of him are Justin fields and Trevor Lawrence that’s a tough company to be at the same level. Maybe not but ALL of them have a much better oline than Miami and its not close, also better redzone play callingGood points...but true frosh and redshirts are performing all over the country and some do not have no where near the talent at the skill position surrounding them.
