Jarren The Game Manager

Still stand by being undefeated if Deejay plays QB vs fl and unc
No way he holds the ball and takes 5 of the 10 sacks JW did because of holding the ball. The other 5 sacks he scrambles for 10 plus yards. JW doesn't throw interceptions but he also doesn't take any chances and looks bored
Smh and deejay can't throw

Jarren: The Human Meat Puppet
Jarren: The Sitting Duck
Jarren: Nagasaki In the Backfield
Jarren: The Designated Survivor

We are 68th in yards per completion 😐
What does that even Mean exactly and where are you getting that stat from?

Qb1 5.7 yards per attempt
Qb2 8.9 yards per attempt

Who is the “game manager”, I’m trying to see something...
Thats solid. Tua 11.6, fields 12.2, hurts 15.2. And those are 3 of the best offenses in cfb.

We would also be undefeated if we had a kicker that did his job and didn’t miss chip shots. Facts are Jarren had us in FG range against the gators on that last drive. Had the K made an earlier attempt, he kicks to win there. Couple of weeks later Jarren went and took the lead, then the D gave it up he came back and put the kicker in position to force OT. I’m by no means saying he perfect, and has improvement to be made but I think he did well given the circumstances.

Comparing the best 3 offenses to our offense seems kind of meaningless to me. Also neither of those 3 qbs have played defenses as good as Miami did vs uf and unc. Even Trevor Lawrence and Jamie newman(wake forest qb who is probably the best in the conference) didn’t do that well vs unc

Same defense playing that was in 2018 compared to now? Oh that’s news to me. That one wouldn’t give up a 4th and 17 that late in the game
Yeah, we shouldn't even be in position against UNC where a 4 and 17 even matters to the outcome of the game.

its not totally unfair, Jarrens been good, but has missed several downfield passes and doesnt run in key situations. he needs to become more of a playmaker, especially on money downs and red zone

Clemson shouldn’t even have been in a position where they had to defend a 2 point conversion to avoid from having unc take a 1 point lead over them with 1 minute left in the 4th if they converted but alas they were and they made a play to prevent points from happening, our defense didn’t

I mean lawerence hasn't looked the same this year. And unc defense isn't that good. They are in the 60s i think. Like i said before i think jarren has been solid but i want to see him be a little more aggressive.

Yeah Jarren has been pretty **** solid but there were opportunities for him to be even better through the first 4 games. As he gets more experience he will get even better. even with Trevor Lawrence issues this year their offense wasn’t being stopped this year like they were vs unc

15+ years of mediocrity and people still pegging automatic wins. Lmaooooooo. You guys are delusional. We shouldn't struggle with UNC? Why because you guys think this program is that much better. When are y'all goin wake up from that 2002 dream. This is what Miami is now. Y'all keep pretending it's something else.

Not going to argue the Jarren thing anymore, its like beating a dead horse. UNC game is a perfect example of ppl either like him or dont. He had us in position to win with the lead, defense gave it back. He drove us right back down the field and Baxa misses a game tying FG. Yet, people still pick out a few plays from that game to prove he's one of the reasons we lost.

We ain't Clemson, and Jarren is no Trevor. They get the benefit of the doubt having just won a championship and all.

Jarren has not been as advertised by some. Well that's not entirely true he has been accurate -- but that's only bc he either holds onto the ball or refuses to throw it more than 5 yards.

Leaning this way as well.

Had a crappy W-L record in High School and never won big there.

He's average. Like that point guard who never turns the ball over, and knows all the plays, but doesnt have the ability to take over a game like a Steph or Russell or Dame.
It's not an all or nothing type of situation. It's not either you're "all world" or you are average (game manager).

The point guards that you mentioned, are all superstars. PG's like Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker, and Sam Cassel, were all very good point guards, who, based upon your argument, would be considered game managers or average. Each one may not have been considered the best at the position at any point of their careers, but they were very good PG's. You know what else they all have in common? They all won championships.

Jarren is not average. Who knows whether or not he will end up being "Elite", but he is certainly better than average.
