Berrios could have had a career day over the middle of the field today. He broke open on post routes multiple times. One time, Rosier badly missed him coming toward the WEZ. Other times, he went to other WRs as Berrios was coming WIDE open. Luckily, we came back to it once for a TD to Harris.
I don't know if it's Rosier's erratic nature, Richt's unwillingness to risk with Rosier or a combination of both, but hope we don't leave yards and points down the middle of the field like that going forward.
For whatever reason, we coached this game like we did the Toledo game. Bare minimum of everything.
On defense, we trotted out an obscene amount of zone with 3 LBs.
On offense, we didn't even see 5WR looks against a team that couldn't hang.
Perhaps there's a method to the madness, but got a little too close for comfort in certain spots.
