@PC = Collins is a must get and he has the talent to make an immediate impact. A 3 down back that would be a great compliment to Duke.

Behind Duke there is no proven back. Getting AC will also raise the competition level and force guys like EC, Dallas, Dillard, and even Hughes to step their game up or step aside.

Bostwick and Bryant would not play or contribute much next year, I don't think. Unless you're some freak of nature like Clowney, haven't we seen it's tough for a true freshman, at 18 years old, to bang it on the d line with guys who have two years of physical maturity and collegiate weight training on their side?

Hooks was probably the most important recruit from the stand point of both our need and his ability to quickly contribute. I'd say a guy like Bond, who comes already assembled and ready to go from JUCO, will be huge because of how poorly we got to the QB. I can see Grace on passing downs getting time at LB because he's a ******* wizard in coverage. Thomas is a big dude and would probably see increased snaps as the year goes on and he learns the game.

But Collins..... Collins affords us the luxury to come at teams in waves and not skip a beat. If we really want to be back and not just fool ourselves, we need to have that 2-deep of absolute studs and game changers all over the place. Not one All-American and a handful of bodies. Bama was throwing Lacy and Yeldon at defenses and it wasn't fair. He'd see 10-12 carries a game behind a veteran OL and he'd make a huge impact. Collins is another step in getting us back to the times where opposing fans say "god **** their backups are better than the starters."

Clements hasn't truly got his shot yet. Breakout year in the making spelling duke.

Eduardo Clements is coming off a serious injury and can't be counted on. Crawford is more a utility back and Dillard is a complete unknown. Collins is an absolute must and would be the most important recruit to next years team.

More so than Thomas and bostwick/Bryant?

I don't think so. Collins is special, but our need at DT (an already exceptionally important position) is great.

Great work, Petey.

As long as Porter is 100%, I dont expect any incoming DT signee to get any early burn.

Porter
Pierre
Robinson
Moore
Ivery

Could probably add King and Grimble as well.

Last interview RE: grades had Robinson telling reporters he had a 17 ACT...that was about a month ago. Might be a reason we see him so often, but he ain't coming. Perhaps our coaches were pitching the prep route if his scores didn't improve, and he chose the immediate LSU route. Dunno. Just seems to love what Miami's selling too much not to be wavering a bit more.

I think the fact that we haven't really seen any other RB names pop up tells you the staff is confident with Collins.

for NEXT season , yes. Collins fills a huge hole immediately. Long term, Thomas is the better and more rare talent

**** this post nailed it. on the money for sure. It's not enough to get one great recruiting class. If we want to be back, we're gonna have to stack three or four classes in a row to have depth to compete and with last year, this year, and next year's talent in south florida, things are looking good.

i hope you're right about 6 i've been hearing mixed thing about his visit to FSU

Like what? Tempted to neg straight out, but go ahead, talk.

i heard jimbo did some major *** kissing and he's really comfortable in Tally, im not saying he's not gana be a cane (which i think he will) but its gana come down to the wire with 6

Dude, if you're referencing that Tallahassee Sally article from Whoreslant, you need to just lay your burden down. That **** was fake. He may pick FSU. I highly doubt it, but he may. Even if he does though, that article is 99% fictitious. Just reads like a myth. Like it was authored by Manti Teo. Really bad in all facets - grammar, syntax, the truth, etc.

in summary, you haven't "been hearing mixed things." You've been reading Langston. And that's on you.

i didn't hear this on any fswho website everything they say is bull****

No, but what you´re hearing is that fine article Biscuits references being regurgitated elsewhere on the interwebs.

Signing day is either going to be absolutely amazing or absolutely heart breaking this year.

Pete how much of a factor is Alabama in Matthew Thomas' recruitment? Could they be the leaders over Miami and FSU?

Kinda disagree here. I want all these guys, but what we've currently got on board is a **** solid class. Even Golden grabs half of these recruits, it's a huge win especially in the face of the NCAA drama
