James Pierre and Aaron Robinson

Pierre is a stud. Would love to take him as a corner.

How did he look at corner cause I take it you watch him live

Great. I saw him as a sophomore and he was one of the best players on the field (including Brandon Powell, Calvin Ridley and Shawn Burgess-Becker). He moves like a corner.

He lockdown ridley or held his own wow anyways if he was in that league as a sophomore

as a cb i like him more than i did at safety...he does have cb ability too...at safety he is rail thin...

Robinson is the bigger guy....i ultimately like Robinson more but he will be a tough flip

Pierre doesn't have any official visits scheduled at this point. If he does come on an unofficial this weekend we could still get him for an official during the last two visit weekends.

At this point there isnt much of differencd for a local kid between an OV and an UV.

Its really more about getting him on campus twice and limiting the opportunities to go someplace else.

Per Pierre, he's 50/50 between UNC and UM. says he doubts ARob will follow through with the visit.

Will be tough to pull arob since he's been committed to uf since early summer.

Something to keep in mind is the fact that we will play nickel so much more now under Diaz. Diaz actually plays nickel more than he plays base defense with 3 LB's.

Last year Miami played nickel the least amount of any P5 team in America. Seriously.

We need DB's not only to get through the season, but also to have enough players for scout throughout summer camp.

Anyone have any official numbers on Pierre? Outside of a handful of clips, his highlights were not helpful in assessing almost anything.
