James Franklin.

Nothing personal whatsoever, but ***** off.

UF and FSU are not better jobs than UM — DGAS what kind of financial advantages they have.

Florida couldn't beat Nebraska for Scott Frost or UCLA (lol) for Chip Kelly.

Dan Mullen may turn out decent, but he was a fallback choice four years after they settled for the Sharkhumper.

Florida State just hired Wee Willie Taggert for god's sake.

With all due respect, neither of those jobs are as good as you think they are.

What? Nobody was beating out Nebraska for Frost and Chip is a west coast dude.

LOL completely and utterly unrealistic . Also it is not easier to win at Miami . Completely false as well.

L-O-L. Miami plays in the Coastal Division. Nothing is easier than that for any coach that isn't a complete dud. Even past his prime Richt won that murderers row of talent laden teams.

You realize that it's about more than the Coastal, right? PSU is dealing with inconsistent Michigan and an Ohio State program that most likely will take a step back with a young, unproven coach. We also don't know where Harbaugh will be 10 minutes from now, much less 1 year out. Again, if you are in the business of winning national titles, PSU is a better fit than Miami right now. You need money to win right now, PSU provides far more of that than Miami ever could.

Continue to live in la la land, but in the modern college football landscape, they are superior jobs. Richest teams tend to win now, especially in a world in which recruiting is basically a straight cash transfer. Guess what? Miami can't play that game, and when you have a local community that doesn't have any problem with people buying kids away from the local school, the job is even crappier.

Story early in the year where Head Coaches were asked who is the most over rated HC --- Willie and Franklin top of the list

Miami with the right coach will breeze through the Coastal. OSU and Michigan have the resources to compete at a national level. Nobody outside of Miami in the Coastal comes close to that. You must be the only person on the planet that thinks Miami's road is tougher.

Right. Because winning the mighty Coastal is a tall task. Even a crap coach like Richt won it. You guys are nuts. A half *** coach here dominates the Coastal.

Another "he is the chosen one" for [insert prgram] that is performing below what is expected.

#stoptheheroworship

#useyourbrains

He won the Big 10 his first year, finished 2nd in his division last year with 11 wins and won 9 this year. The Big 10 East is no cake walk dude.

And still not achieving what was expected.

Not saying he is a bad coach; just always a letdown when reality starts to cloud the myth.

End of game, his decisions when to call the timeouts... again, he's not a great gameday coach.

All the big games they've lost with Franklin, he made very questionable calls

would not want

How about James Franklin? Buyout is only $1 million. Easier to win at Miami than PSU. Can recruit, young and offensively creative. Worth a look

Sure... and why not Saban?! LOL Would help with recruiting and he wouldn't have to use the helicopter.
