Franklin's recruiting class grades:
19- 10th
Vandy

14- 46
13 -26
12 - 46
11- 49

Before him - 50-90 range.

That man can ******* recruit and coach. That's a tier higher than Jimbo Fisher. **** outta here. This ain't hiring a washed up end of the road Richt. Franklin in his prime.

He doesn't have anyone to compete with recruiting wise at Penn. I'm telling you he wouldn't be a good choice
Penn State wasn't recruiting good since before Sandusky when Joe Pa was there. Penn State was a washed program recruiting wise. Even the season O'Brien was there, they sucked at recruiting that year.

Well I can tell you even if you want him why would he leave Penn for Miami?

Actually, it's easier to win at Penn State than it is at Miami. Remember, we are in a college football world where REVENUE is king. Guess what, you will never hurt for stuff at PSU. You will never hurt for support staff, for assistants for anything of that sort. Why would Franklin trade that in, to coach at a place where you have to work within the confines of a budget? People, get over it, Miami isn't the job most of you IROC driving mouth breathers think it is. It's a solid job, but it's a gig that is solidly outside of the top 10. In this new economic order, it's the third best job in the state.

Shows what you know you elitist! I drive a Trans Am with T Tops!

******* yeah I'd take Franklin, especially with that $1M buyout & the prospects of Him convincing Johnson to come here.

And I just read that He's trying to make inroads in Florida, well what better way to make inroads than taking the Miami job?

Would be a HR hire.

Nothing personal whatsoever, but ***** off.

UF and FSU are not better jobs than UM — DGAS what kind of financial advantages they have.

Florida couldn't beat Nebraska for Scott Frost or UCLA (lol) for Chip Kelly.

Dan Mullen may turn out decent, but he was a fallback choice four years after they settled for the Sharkhumper.

Florida State just hired Wee Willie Taggert for god's sake.

With all due respect, neither of those jobs are as good as you think they are.

L-O-L. Miami plays in the Coastal Division. Nothing is easier than that for any coach that isn't a complete dud. Even past his prime Richt won that murderers row of talent laden teams.

How about James Franklin? Buyout is only $1 million. Easier to win at Miami than PSU. Can recruit, young and offensively creative. Worth a look

Nah I don’t want a doushe bag. It would be like Al Golden Cheeseburger **** nonstop. Gotta be Nick Saban good to put up with that nonsense
