Vt has won 4 acc titles, lost 3 other acc cg, and played for a national title.

Virginia is a great place to recruit. You have only three bigger time schools and lots of talent in md, DC and va.

Ceiling is as high as anyone else if the money shows up.

Could you imagine if UF, Auburn or LSU hired him? Those fanbases would’ve burnt the cities to the ground. VT isn’t a bad job but it’s not the greatest either. If he fixes them and wins 9,10 games a year he could play that into a “bigger” job. Pretty clear he wanted FSU but looks like Norvell should make a bowl and save his job.

James Franklin is a legit upgrade for them. Let's stop it with the nonsense. That said, the talent hasn't changed and it's very likely he's going to get rid of **** near everybody, their talent is that bad.

Maybe. LSU would probably carry Freeman to Baton Rouge if he took the job. As far as on the field goes JF doesn’t make much sense at LSU. He’d be an improvement at Auburn but I don’t think he’d want to deal with that toxicity regardless of race. Auburn might be the hardest job in the SEC.
