James Franklin to FSU? Maybe. Maybe not.

Up at Penn State majority of his recruits he is dealing with is against Michigan, Ohio state, Notre Dame for the most part. Down here he would be dealing with Miami, Uf, and every SEC and still deal with ohio state. He don’t scare me one bit at FSU.
 
He'll never get fired from PSU, but he'll probably never recruit the talent needed to win a national title there either. Up to him what kind of career he wants. I hope he stays there.

If u can’t beat OSU you can’t beat Clemson.
 
I hope he doesn't suddenly get STUPID and go to FSU.

Because he definitely would have them back in a hurry.

Listen, the man quickly turned perinenial doormat Vandy into a winner in the SEC while there.....now that's the coaching equivalent to turning lead into gold.

He's done very well at PSU also.

I say get STUPID because it would definitely be a step down for him into a more unstable, treacherous environment.

As for how Franklin making that dumb move to FSU would effect us.....ANYTHING that makes FSU better is bad for us........and he is a much better coach than Diaz in every possible way of comparison.

Quite Frankly, I think Franklin is just trying to leverage a better contract from PSU.

Unless he took a shower with Jerry Sandusky, nothing else would explain the type of trauma necessary to make a move from PSU to FSU. He has a loaded roster there, and competition wise he's just be trading OSU* for Clemson as the juggernaut he has to beat.

He is trading OSU for Clemson, but he is also trading Michigan and MSU for Wake Forest and Louisville. And Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin for Va Tech, Miami, and Virginia. At least at FSU he will be gaurunteed to be the 2nd best team in the Conf year in and year out. At PSU one bad year and he is 7th in the conf.

Has he ever finished seventh in the conference?

A lot of decent coaches won't go into a situation where the athletic department is a ****show. Theirs makes ours look god by comparison.
