James Franklin to FSU? Maybe. Maybe not.

his buyout is only 1 million. I think he's a good coach who had to deal a lot with the ramifications of the *** scandal there and has them as a 9-11 win program. If he can deal with that at Pedo State I'm sure he can deal with rebuilds at most places. That would be a good hire for them, whether it's a step down or not.

Interesting.... shows he knows he cant beat OSU... on top of dropping a game or two most years against middle of the pack Big10 school

But this could always just be a gimmick to get a pay raise from pedo state

Doesn't make sense for any reason, but whatever.

His buyout is super cheap, only $1M.....which also makes no sense.

Me thinks Franklin and agent are leveraging for a more lucrative contract. FSU is a dumpster fire he would be crazy to take. He knows he will be 10-2 this year and probably better next year.

He's already making $5.65M with an escalator clause each year through 2022.

You take Clemson over Ohio state? Maybe. But FSU is a dumpster fire. Pedo state is already going solid for him. He just needs to find a quarterback

Makes sense, He has a vacation home in Destin. Any coach that has a million dollar buyout they're not trying to keep. I think Franklin was underappreciated in Crappy Valley, might be time to move on.

I thought I saw something today that said Kiffin was being vetted? I think I’ve heard everyone except Sandusky.

Go Canes!

Franklin would be the same coach he is at Penn state. 9/10 wins a year but will never win the big ones he needs.

He's a stud recruiter though, so he could easily put together a more talented team down here in Florida than he could at Penn State. Just more fertile grounds. If Seider would come with? Ouch....even better recruiting.

His in game coaching is still very questionable - that part i agree on.
