JAMES COLEY BEWARE

I am in favor of giving Coley another year as OC regardless of who is hired as HC. Coley is still learning and sometimes we just have to be patient. It would be good for Kaaya and very good for Qb recruiting(He got that Qb finding voodoo going).

Actually think a Herman/Coley combo might work very well. Coley catches them (Qbs and recruiting in general) and Herman cooks them(so to speak). And Herman might be good for Coley's development as an o/c

In all honesty, if somehow Coach Scott wins out and the bowl game, i think people will push for him to keep that job...Just a thought
 
Its extremely rare when a coach gets promoted after a firing for lacking wins. The only known case I know about was when we hired Randy.
 
If he had any chance of being retained he would have been named interim.

How is Coley a minority? If UM wants a "minority" so badly, then Frank Wilson might be the guy. Won honors as a top recruiter in 2014 and 2015. Young enough. Hopefully, could recruit S. Fl, and for sure could lock up Louisiana. Vegas lists him as a legitimate contender for the UM job.

Really, I am not boosting Frank Wilson, but if UM really wants a "minority," then I would prefer Wilson to someone who had been hand picked by Folden and who doesn't appear to be a "minority" to begin with. By the way, is that hot babe your lady?

It would be the ultimate cheap and incompetent hire.

If Coley were to get the job or even be retained as the OC on the new staff...I'm done with this program.

OP sniffed the gas. He is on the staff that got Kaaya killed by a two man rush, nuff said. And Kaaya was crying for Golden as well. BTW it is a problem that Kaaya likes him, kids way too comfortable down there.
 
No way he gets the job. Coker and Shannon were both promoted and we all know how that went. Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes...hopefully.
