What about that absolute gem of an outing vs Duke in 2022?

Edit: You guys do realize that the absolute gem part was sarcasm right? Right? I mean the kid threw what 3 picks? Was sacked what 5 times? Maybe the worst performance for a UM quarterback ever. Then again Kirby Freeman vs NC State may be the gold standard for ineptitude at Miami.

You should see my post on Texas quarterbacks. There has been a long list of high school blue chip recruits that the Longhorns got between 2010 and 2021. The only one who kinda worked out was Sam Ellingher. High school QB recruiting seems to have as high or higher a failure rate as NFL first round picks at that position.

I’ve mentioned this before; and I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I’m not high on Garcia. There’s a reason SC took Moss.

Garcia plays at Narbonne while Moss plays at Mater Dei. One plays a local, now pedestrian schedule; the other plays a national schedule. One plays at a school that hasn’t produced a star in a while, the other plays at a school known for CFB and NFL stars.

Garcia lost his 5th star; there’s a reason.
His first yr starting, he put up 2100 yrds w/ 15 TDs and 5 ints against a lackluster schedule.
Miller put up 3100 28 TDs and 10 ints against a top end schedule...

Edit: Yeah, & Miller Moss is killing at SC so far.

Whoah whoah whoah, you’re forgetting his green tree ball of fame worthy performance in that one spring game. That was where the Garcia train really picked up steam.

I hate when CIS hypes up every QB and every fan base does it, you got Giants fans acting like this Devito guy is good as well. I be like wtf is everyone smoking that I don't have access to? I want to be that high where I believe Mertz is a pro bowler. That's what I want, I wish I could see things like them and have some sort of false hope so things feel better. When you know that you know it just gets you upset that the team you root for has no idea wtf its doing.

No not really lol, but when your program is doing everything wrong for years and you see it, it doesn’t feel good to follow the team. Cause when someone gets hired you know you have to wait 3-4 years, already knowing they will fail. So the wait feels like forever.
