They desperately need to find some good recruiting ground in the Midwest but they just never have. Should have never left the Big 12. Well said my friend. They absolutely never should have left the big 12 because in the big twelve they could recruit Texas in telling kids there going to be playing Texas, Baylor, TCU and tech every year. Which works for all the other big 12 teams outside Texas because Texas like Florida has so many ballers that UT and the rest of the Texas schools can’t take them all. But now In the big 10 they have absolutely no recruiting footprint Or identify with the kids up there. The few players Iowa and Wisconsin produce aren’t going to Nebraska and the three best states for talent In the big 10 Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are on lock down with there home teams already there. So basically, Nebraska is fvcked! If they ever want a prayer of competing again there better go back hat in hand and beg to come back to the big 12 so they can recruit Texas again. Lol

Yep. They are in no man’s land and it kind of sucks since they were so good for so long. We had some great games against them.

I appreciate Frost for trying but it’s pretty clear raiding south Florida isn’t going to work. The loss of the Texas/Oklahoma area since they never play there and the Colorado rivalry which helped out west has totally crippled them. I think it’s over unless they can reunite with Texas and OU in a future conference.

I'd bring him on for a campus visit just so he get hyped and we can... never offer him a **** thing, go back to your hometown in nebraska.
 
Yeah its differnt out there. I played NAIA Ball in Dodge City, Kansas. There were a dozen of us from Florida my freshman year - we thought we ended up on the dark side of the moon. Billboard flat and the smell of cow **** from the feed yards any time the wind blew from the south.

Guys from St Thomas, Key West, Belle Glade, Palm Beach, Tarpon Springs, me from Punta Gorda. It took a while to get used to the place and a few left on the midnight train; just couldn't adjust. But Florida boys meant winning - and even the KCAC knew it in the 70s.
