Any scout you talk to will add about a 0.1 to pretty much every kid's time as a rule of thumb.

No, it wasn’t. He should have been used more in short passing, drew and screens to get him space. He is more athletic than a FB like Quadtrine Hill and Hill caught a good amount of passes out of the backfield.

Very true. I'm just telling you what I've been told. Miami's pro day numbers are widely known as some of the most inaccurate. They're all inaccurate....or should I say contain error. But there are a certain number of schools where the numbers published contain more error...and one of those schools is Miami. It's not the end of the world. Miami has done an OK job sending kids to the league who produce just fine when they get there.

All that being said, Choc Gray is not running sub 4.4 at the combine. But even a hand-timed 4.3 coming out of Miami is a **** good time for him.

I believe J Johnson has very similar times at both the combine and today's pro day. That would indicate fairly accurate times I would think.

This is completely incorrect. Don't make up something just to make something up. Most scouts believe the Miami pro day timings are correct as they've been outdoors on natural grass (with that said the new facility may change that since it was indoors for the first time and people haven't evaluated the turf). The two most disregarded schools for scouts on pro day timing are Ohio State & UCLA.

Again, this is a new year with new facility and turf. But don't make things up so you can enjoy the attention.
