True, but Rousseau was also in coverage, albeit shallow crosser territory, this past Sunday. Buffalo has a nice approach to defense. Rousseau landed in a good spot for growth. May end up the year with 8 sacks or so, which would be more than Chase Young's 7.5 last year and around Nick Bosa's rookie campaign (9 sacks). Should make my and other Dolphins fans lives **** for a while. They rushed the passer in waves.

Players generally only know THEIR responsibility. That's why so many elite players turn out to be ****** coaches. LOL

It's been my experience that players know what's going on in front of them, but rarely going backward. Which is to say Safeties should know fronts. Basically, if the call has an impact on your responsibility, I feel like you should know what your teammates are doing. I realize that's not always the case. I played with two corners who I reminded almost every play what their responsibilities were. Ironically, we played a ton of Cover 3 (and pattern matched at the ****** HS level!) and some Cover 4.

My Safeties always know (or should) because sometimes they have to run fit. But our CB's generally have no clue.
And they might know some stuff on the fronts, but I doubt my DB's know all of our blitzes/stunts.
(now I feel like asking them today lol)
