Jaden Rashada

soooo, I have mixed feelings all over the place on this prospect. We obviously evaluated him to probably be our future star QB, and we were willing to pay him as that.... whole fiasco happens and I believe he was going to start at ASU as a FR, but got hurt... Not sure why he left ASU, other than I can guess NIL bags.... goes to UGA, have no clue what happened there, but he must of impressed Beck enough, for Beck to recommend us taking a 2nd look at him.... Glass half full: The Turds saved us a TON of money with the same prospect... still get him at a huge discounted rate "for now"... After Beck leaves, if he's the real deal he gives us a 1-2 year buffer for Nickel/Coleman to develop... Glass half empty: he hasn't proven any maturity with decision making so far (including his pops)... He's a risk to leave for NIL bags at any time... Seems like a risk to pull what Tennessee's QB just did and try to hold us hostage...

I think you take him if money is low enough to be a deal for us... work on his maturity, but be ready at all times for him to flake out....

The only way I'd entertain Rashada even visiting is if Beck has been a good culture/locker room fit so far...if that's the case, AND Beck can vouch for Rashada as a teammate from their time in the same QB room at UGA...then sure. Kick the tires.

He has started in 2 college games. The first 2 games of the 23 season. This isn't the experience I am looking for, but it is better than what we'll have if Emory leaves. I would definitely lay down rules with his father. Hopefully, they have learned some lessons.

Honestly Beck should be in best position to actually inform staff of whether he's worth bringing in to locker room. He can tell them his character in the meeting rooms. If he worked hard and all that. If he's going to work hard and has been humbled into accepting a cheap NIL deal, I'd take him, especially if Emory leaves. At the end of the day he'll have gotten some exp and humbled, and may be ready to actually start next yr in a tru competition with Him, Luke, and Coleman... Who knows.
