Jackson Cantwell practice footage

If Francis and Ruben don't both go top 10(no later than top 5 for francis)gms need to retool their scouting rooms. Two easiest sure fire picks you can find. Yes there's a good possibility francis & Ruben play inside. But since when is versatility an issue. In some systems lt is in play for francis as well. He'd be all pro consistently inside but I personally have lil doubt for him at tackle either.
Im thinking maybe its smoke screens but alot of people have mocks with two lbs and a rb in the top5 but not the best guys at OL and DL

Their is coach talk all over Cantwell and like this video, spin all over this. Cantwell is playing excellent for a TR FR OL much less a LT. This wave is already getting out of hand for me. He is way ahead of where a good TR FR normally is. He is not some dominant OL right now. I would never make the statement, he will be the best OL in the ACC this year, we all have opinions. Maybe it's possible, but their is nothing projecting that, yet. SiSi was not the best his 1st year, either. This OL is doing some things pretty well and some things bad. Really bad. They have the rest of Spring and Fall Camps with basically the first 4 games to figure it out. A work in progress, the truth.

Stars don’t matter.

I like his game. He's one of the more complete edges we have and he's explosive off the line. His upside isn't the same as say Haydens. But not really anyone else we have is either. Scroggins is similar as well. I like the potential of our entire room basically. My only worry is how we set the edge cause linebacker I'm not sold on yet.
Appreciate the insight.

Yeah, last year we were extremely fortunate to have Bain & Mesidor. Two ends that could set the edge and rush the passer. It covered up a lot of the deficiencies we had at LB.

You can't let your ends play as freely if the Linebacker play isn't able to handle their responsibilities consistently.

I have doubts about Lightfoot being able to handle that type of responsibility. Which is why I was wondering about Pickett. I hoped he'd be able to step into Lightfoot's role from last year. But that would require Lightfoot taking another step himself.

Blount will be able too, Lowe & Scroggins have the builds.
