I texted this to some of the guys on the board, but follow this logic...
The "$5M" number is actually a 2-year number. That means $2.5M per year.
UGa offered $2M per year. Therefore, their number is "$4M".
But they are making a mountain out of a molehill by clutching their pearls over the additional $1M, as if they couldn't and/or wouldn't pay that amount.
Good lord, they are an SEC-SEC-SEC school right next to the capital city of The South, and they are pleading poverty...
