Because it’s usually while we’re leading lolWhy do the push back of the commitment dates tend to not be good for us? Lol

I got to looking at UGA track record of OL under Kirby Smart which they are selling to Jackson Cantwell
Based on On3 composite rankings he’s had 5 OL drafted in the 1st round and the last 3 being 5 star recruits
OT- Isiah Wynn- 4 star- 96th overall
OT- Andrew Thomas- 4 star- 59 overall
OT- Isiah Wilson- 5 star- 11 overall
OT- Broderick Jones- 5 star- 9 overall
OT- Amarius Mims- 5 star- 10 overall
This draft marks the sixth consecutive NFL draft that Georgia has had multiple offensive linemen taken.
IOL- Tate Ratledge- 4 star- 41 overall- 2nd round
IOL- Dylan Fairchild- 4 star- 108 overall- 3rd round
IOL- Jared Wilson- 4 star- 212 overall - 3rd round
Georgia isn’t trying to turn projects in to high draft picks
UGA got hit with many injuries on the OL this year unlike Miami who was healthy all year outside of Rivers missing a few gamesAnd our offensive line was better on the field than GA's this past year…If you want to adjust for schedule I get it, but the difference was so glaring that best you can get to after adjustment is that UM's was just slightly better.
What's your point?
Definitely a play by the agent. He played the game well. Said he didn't need to visit anywhere and was ready to commit. That was all for getting a bigger offer. Georgia and Oregon took the bait and here we are.
YesDefinitely a play by the agent.

The point is don’t recruit projects if you want high draft picks
One of the best every single year according to who??No the point is why worry about high draft picks if you have one of the best OL in CFB every…single…year
Not happening next yearSo when Miami has 4 OL drafted in the top 75 picks next year what does that mean
Which 4 OL are you talking about? I would love to see it, but that’s not happening. I have Mauigoa and then????So when Miami has 4 OL drafted in the top 75 picks next year what does that mean

And the new Center may get drafted; but I don’t know abut Top 75.Bell will get looks just because of his size
Cooper will also get looks
Maybe not first 2 rounds but TrumpyCane sees them getting drafted within the 1st 3
Bell could move himself way up if he has a great year and performs well at the combine
Miami had had a top 10-12 OL the last 2 seasons. I dont care what Joe Moore award says. One of the best every single year according to who??
Miami has NEVER been a Semifinalist (Top 10) for the Joe Moore Award
Last year it was only a MidSeason award Finalist (Top 22) for the first time ever
Joe Moore Award is very thorough in their evaluation too

We have never had 4 OL drafted in a single draft class, let alone 4 in the first 75 picks.Bell will get looks just because of his size

Maybe some of you guys will be right. I just don’t see Bell or Cooper getting looks in the first 3 rounds unless they have a monster year.
If you have a good offensive line and your job is a college coach, how can you not be one of the better offensive line coaches? The draft is something completely different. Our guys played well as a unit and that's really all that matters.Well I’ll say this..we can’t keep saying that Mario and Mirabel are the best OL coaches in the nation if we can’t get Bell and Cooper drafted in the first 3 rounds. That’s just the facts. I saw a lot of guys drafted in the first 90 picks that nobody would ever consider dominate or somewhat elite at OL. Bell and Copper can take the next step in development and make themselves top 90 picks off body type alone. This is the OL draft class in 2026 that Mario and Mirabel have to put their stamp on to show recruits that they are indeed the best in the business.
