My favorite is that their writer seems to suggest an OL would be better off developed under them than Mario when Mario is responsible for Oregon's best OL prospects of all time lol. Not to mention he's about to have another first rounder in Cici and like 3-5 other OL drafted the next two years. But yea sure roll the dice at Miami lolol

I understand Oregon means this to be an insult

But hearing a team backed by Nike, and a dude that said he will literally write a check for anyone just to win, talk about not matching an offer for the #1 recruit in the country is the best PR for us I’ve ever seen

one mans trash is another mans treasure.

but this sounds like a club in Philly that used to be called the 19th hole. First time we walked in and a woman who was likely 6-7 months pregnant was startled, jumped up, turned on some whitesnake and started to dance. We gave her $ 40 change the song and leave us alone while we just had a few beers and played some shuffleboard. She then ripped a few drags off a cig and went back to her seat. Probably thinking about the duality of man
19th Hole, huh?

I am 100% aware that I am biased here, but have any of you ever been through Oregon? Once you get outside of Portland, it gets real rural, real fast. To be fair I have not been all over Oregon and there are some areas in the Columbia River Gorge that are amazing, but overall, it's a dud state. Who in the F would choose to go to school in Eugene, Oregon rather than Miami? Unless you're from the West Coast, I don't get it, assuming the bags are similar.

Aslo F Phil Knight

For those that don't know.. Eugene is a hippy haven..I know we got a lot of those in here, but there it is. It's a college town in the middle of nowhere surrounded by farmers. Their fans are some of the most delusional and most vile in America..want proof? Go to a home game and wear the opponents gear but be prepared to literally get ****ed or **** on. Those who know, know..
It's a **** town that nike beautified. That's it.
Yes Oregon is beautiful af for outdoors types, fishing, hunting all that..the southeast corner is rarely explored but some of the most beautiful natural structures in America.

I could care less what their beat writer puts out there in terms of insults. What I do like is that Oregon doesn’t want to match us.
PLEASE let that be Oregon’s OFFICIAL stance. PLEASE.

If I’m Cantwell and read that, I’d cancel the trip to Oregon and say “Your writers told me you ain’t upping your bag, so no need for me to visit”

Please let the writer be talking troof there.

I like how Oregon think they gods gift to football, they never won ****, got some nice uniforms and got blessed Nike CEO went there and is dishing out money hand over fist, that’s the reason people even consider they bum ***

F*** them. They wanna talk about us buying players like uncle Phil isn’t bank rolling one of the most expensive rosters in CFB.

The most charitable reading of that errand boy's post is that the depth chart is more favorable (thinner) in Eugene. "Compete and roll the dice" being the alternative to Oregon sounds like Lanning is offering a starting spot.

If what he means is that Jackson would be making a risky career move by playing on the OL for Cristobal and Mirabal, then I'd love to learn what brand of dabs he buys.
