May seem silly to some, but I really do think Addidas hurts us more than it helps us. Small factor here but something that I hope changes at some point. Nike is a superior brand and something I know I thought about during my own recruitment.

@TheOriginalCane whats the latest on when Miami will either bid out/negotiate their apparel contract? Iirc, the contract ends 1/1/26?

We can "officially" open the bidding after 12/31/2025. Soooo....8.5 months....

UNOFFICIALLY? Why do you think that @Rellyrell and I talk about this **** all the time...👀 👀

[EDIT: For the record, if we quickly conclude a Nike/Jordan deal in January 2026, I'd expect us to "mutually" agree to end the adidas contract a year early, and then sell all the remaining adidas inventory over the next 6-8 months.]

The contract ends June 30th, 2027 so next year we have an opportunity to move. IMO it’s a no brainer we need to move back to Nike. Winning at a high level the next two years should give us leverage to get a great offer. The Addidas run needs to end. It’s not worth the extra few million dollars

OSU not feeling confident here so I agree Oregon is the biggest comp

Always tough when the schools competing are thousands of miles away

Not sure if sell is applicable here…more like donate that remaining adidas inventory because no one in their right mind will want that trash
