Why do you all have these stupid *** pointless comments? You can't have both sides of this argument. Number one everything preseason is pointless relevant and is laced with SEC and Big ten biases. Number two who are these media people be putting the hype on for Miami post spring since it's based entirely off of how said teams looked during spring practice. So in other words they were basing us off of Emery Williams and Judd Anderson. Just cut it out man You can acknowledge things aren't going how we'd like well also acknowledging somethings certainly are.

Iuli is from Tacoma, Washington. He had a multi-year recruitment to Oregon under Mario, which is why he paid respect to Mario by visiting Miami.

We've had this discussion before, on west-coast Polynesian players and how hard it is to get them to come to the east coast. He was never coming to Miami. If you want to give Lanning ALL THE CREDIT for the entire 6 weeks of recruiting and relationship-building he did, and ignore geography and everything else, that's up to you.

I guess you were also surprised by Haulcy spurning his "former coach" and choosing to stay close to Texas and play for an SEC team. Shocker.

As long as Oregon hires a competent coach to replace Mario (which Lanning absolutely is), Iuli is re-committing to Oregon. No question.

I am not following recruiting this cycle. I’ve had a few posts sporadically but all that matters is money and signing day so why worry about it.

This is also kinda a half truth. We had highest offer. He intimated that wanted to go to Miami but no qb and we didn’t have Ward yet. He also preferred OSU and used us to up the deal to $1.2. We should have done a takeout bid. Stupid move by us. We’re not run by smart people… it’s evident

The problem with what you're doing is youre having this discussion with someone who knows better. You then quoted this clown Mark sclabach as I'd what he says has any more merit than you... You actually lost any credit once you did that. This was his same dip**** list last year. Any pre season list is made up for drama queens, slurpers & clowns. 75% of em get ran to ****.

Preseason poll is just a perception of the program and it’s solely there opinion on it. Like I originally said, national media isn’t impressed.

And guess what, this same guy on August 21st had Miami making the playoffs last year

But Miami and Mario had to **** the bed

Yup and like I said look at the programs that impressed him and the state of those programs last year & how accurate that turned out... Anyone concerned with their takes doesn't impress me.

You realize by saying that line you're proving my point right? Anyone on here would tell you what I said about us last off season when we were hopeful to make it we all knew that at least know the game what are holes were going to be and every one of them ended up being the case. So I really don't care what this man has to say when you literally just proved exactly that point he didn't have a clue what the f*** he was talking about last year either and you just said that. So why in the f*** would I care what he thinks now? I know our strengths and weaknesses I don't care in the least what the media wants you to believe are the strengths and weaknesses where we rank or anything else.
