"Miami OC James Coley was scheduled to have an income visit with Jack Allison this evening. Wonder what they talked about.

Jack Allison's reply:

Chance he de-commits from the U now that Coley will most likely be shown the door? Love Eason but Allison is homegrown

On a side note we should retain coach Scott for TE (he's done wonders with Clive, Herndon, Njoku) and Beard as WR coach.

Coley could and should stay. Ritch will be more involved with offensive side. Would be great for Coleys career.
 
Read on twitter that they found out the news while Kehoe, Coley, and Scott were visiting. Who knows what will happen? Maybe Eason comes, maybe he doesn't. Richt has produced some good QB's - Murray and Stafford are noteables.
 
I'd love for Jack Allison to stay with Miami though, and I'd prefer him too be quite honest bc I don't know a thing about Eason. Give me Allison. We'll see what happens.
 
If our coaches are professionals, they probably told Allison to stick with Miami no matter who the new coach was and who remained from the old staff.

Gotta hope Scott doesn't get HC offers. .. lots of vacancies.

I wanted Butch but the one kid who won with Mark getting this job is Jack. Mark actually played QB here and has coached several good ones, including a couple NC ones at Free Sodomy U. Jack should stay. Mark is proof even backup Canes can make big big money.

He doesn't have to call games to stick around. Richt being an offensive centric coach helps a ton with that. I would have said the same had they brought in Herman or Mullen. Richt can mentor Coley properly and he can continue to better himself at his craft while preparing to become a HC someday.
 
Coley left FSU in part because he wanted to be his own man as OC. Sorry, but I don't see him staying under Richt. He is a great recruiter. Especially at identifying QB talent, but Richt specializes in a lot of what he does well.

Unless Coley is alright being recruiting coordinator and QB coach it's time for him to leave.
