Jack Allison?

Guy wasn't any good in high school and he won't be in college either.

Posters got all giddy since he gave his verbal because that's just what they do about mostly any recruit. When some of us looked into his play and brought up some valid concerns, these same posters stood up for him like a bunch of Band Aid groupies. Their position solidified, they'll still vouch for him to this day. Should the amazing happen, him doing anything of significance on the field, it'll be very surprising to say the least and they'll be sure to tout their prowess as talent evaluators.

I have nothing against the young man and hope he fulfills all his dreams. I've been wrong on prospects before, so we'll ser what happens. Either way, he did it his way, so be it.

Him (or his dad) is on record saying that they transferred because Richt seemed to favor mobility more than he wanted to admit. Felt that Jack wasnt getting a fair chance considering he was a lot less mobile than the other QBs.
Good offensive coordinators tailor the offense around their players. Alabama has a completely different offense now for Tua than they had for Hurts.

Kid made a knee-jerk decision to leave after losing the job. I have a tough time rooting for a kid who bailed on the program because he wasn’t handed a job.

With that said he could’ve seen the **** show of a scheme and run for the hills.

He played of a coach who still cant decide if he wants a running QB or not. Look at our top qb prospect in 2019 (MJJ) and 2020 (Max Johnson). They are nothing alike. Yet that is who the staff is focusing on. It seems like CMR wants a QB that runs when theres nothing there or a bad call was made but stays in the pocket all other times. Who is their right mind, who understands that you need solid coaching to make it to the league, would stick around for that? You think Lincoln Riley approaches QB coaching the same way??

Coaching is everything. Im interested to see if Dana can do anything allison. Grier wasnt anything special at UF and now hes at a point where he is actually decided not to play cause it will hurt his draft stock... like I said, coaching is everything!

Holgorson is an offensive boss.

Too bad Manny's defense made your boy Holgorson look like Richt!:zczkqmritjdsoaq.jpg: To paraphrase your boy Holgorson.... " The BEST DEFENSE we faced all season long! " OUCH. But then again, today's Big 12 isn't exactly known for Top 20 defenses and what not. hUh.

“University of Miami redshirt freshman quarterback Jack Allison, who left the Hurricanes football program Tuesday morning, loves Miami, his father, Sean Allison, said, but he also loves to play football and didn’t think the future held that for him if he remained a Hurricane.

Sean Allison told the Miami Herald late Tuesday morning, about two hours after the younger Allison met with UM coach Mark Richt to tell him his decision, that his son “is a pocket passer, just like Mark said,’’ but that he believes the Hurricanes are heading to a more dual-threat, running-type quarterback system.

He loves Miami. We all love Miami, but the whole direction of the program is they want a running quarterback – a dual-threat quarterback,’’ Allison’s father said. “They want a different wrinkle in their offense.”

Well we definitely got a different wrinkle..a wrinkle that sucked.

Umm. Yes he was lol. Their offense was clicking, and undefeated with him at QB. When he got injured the whole offense fell apart.

They went 6-0 with Grier and 4-4 without him.
