Or he’s just smarter than them, and realized he needed to GTFO Richts OKid is soft for thinking he couldn’t beat out Malik or Nkosi. So soft.

West Virginia QBs have done well. If he's the next man up behind Grier, I assume he will ball. Very QB friendly system and Holgorsen is a great at playing to his QB's strengths.

Okay thanksI believe Richt wanted a running QB. Remember Kaaya was supposedly the issue in year 1 because he wasn't mobile.
Good offensive coordinators tailor the offense around their players. Alabama has a completely different offense now for Tua than they had for Hurts.Him (or his dad) is on record saying that they transferred because Richt seemed to favor mobility more than he wanted to admit. Felt that Jack wasnt getting a fair chance considering he was a lot less mobile than the other QBs.
Kid made a knee-jerk decision to leave after losing the job. I have a tough time rooting for a kid who bailed on the program because he wasn’t handed a job.
With that said he could’ve seen the **** show of a scheme and run for the hills.
He was our best quarterback, and I don't think it was particularly close.
Richt lost whatever ability he had to identify a decent quarterback.

This is my feeling as well
Holgorson is an offensive boss.
To paraphrase your boy Holgorson.... " The BEST DEFENSE we faced all season long! " OUCH. But then again, today's Big 12 isn't exactly known for Top 20 defenses and what not. hUh.Wrong
“University of Miami redshirt freshman quarterback Jack Allison, who left the Hurricanes football program Tuesday morning, loves Miami, his father, Sean Allison, said, but he also loves to play football and didn’t think the future held that for him if he remained a Hurricane.
Sean Allison told the Miami Herald late Tuesday morning, about two hours after the younger Allison met with UM coach Mark Richt to tell him his decision, that his son “is a pocket passer, just like Mark said,’’ but that he believes the Hurricanes are heading to a more dual-threat, running-type quarterback system.
“He loves Miami. We all love Miami, but the whole direction of the program is they want a running quarterback – a dual-threat quarterback,’’ Allison’s father said. “They want a different wrinkle in their offense.”

How dare you say that Jack Allison isn’t gorgeous!
That is a stunningly beautiful man.
Well we definitely got a different wrinkle..a wrinkle that sucked.
He played of a coach who still cant decide if he wants a running QB or not. Look at our top qb prospect in 2019 (MJJ) and 2020 (Max Johnson). They are nothing alike. Yet that is who the staff is focusing on. It seems like CMR wants a QB that runs when theres nothing there or a bad call was made but stays in the pocket all other times. Who is their right mind, who understands that you need solid coaching to make it to the league, would stick around for that? You think Lincoln Riley approaches QB coaching the same way??
Coaching is everything. Im interested to see if Dana can do anything allison. Grier wasnt anything special at UF and now hes at a point where he is actually decided not to play cause it will hurt his draft stock... like I said, coaching is everything!
