Jaccuri Brown is not hurt

For what we’ll use him for ? Yes. He’s a walking first down on short yardage and could steal us a Td with some trickery off run action. Now if we need to pass or are behind it’s Emory all day. Emory is much more developed with passing.
If they used him like Rhett used king in some of the QB run playaction stuff I'd be smitten. He tore Louisville up that year. 17:44

His arm isn't trusted right now.... he won't see the field much until that changes....

I agree with this.
Would love to see special packages with JB.
His athleticism brings an element we don’t have.

Just wouldn’t want him as QB1 right now, until he fixes his passing accuracy.

I'm willing to bet Jacurri will be the backup against the good teams. I think Emory is better but using Jacurri in the wildcat is a very real weapon.

“Wayyyy ahead of him”… bruh i don’t think Emory likes you in that way. Get off his **** your CIS fantasies aren’t reality. He’ll be a nice back up until Jacurri goes to the NFL.
I'm a big fan of Jacurri Brown as he has tools and ability that cannot be taught. He could be a real weapon is certain packages right now but his current ability as a passer is holding him back and the reality is that Emory is ahead of him. Jacurri is a great kid who I really want to see succeed and to his credit he is very much aware of what he needs to work on and develop and has actively sought out a redshirt in order to do just that.

Instead of whining and complaining about playing time and pouting because Emory Williams is QB #2 right now, Brown knows exactly what he has to do and is laser focused on achieving it. That speaks volumes of his character, maturity level and value as a teammate and I wouldn't ever bet against a young man like that. Brown may end up becoming a Heisman caliber sensation for us in the future as our starting QB and then again he may never win the job but whatever happens that young man is going to give it everything he has. Another variable that will help Brown tremendously is Shannon Dawson and his ability develop QBs by tailoring the offense to suit their individual strengths.

I get it but he should be able to hit wide open shots. I understand not trusting him to drop back and scan the whole field. Either way its just icing on the cake right now.
They've said they have a few packages for him but it remains to be seen if and when they'll be used ..

Jacurri Brown our next in line starting QB will be unstoppable in this system.

:stormwarningflag-sm:
Maybe. He hasn’t shown me enough to draw that conclusion.

Against ATM he would have made the easy throws (TD passes to Young and George from inside the 5 yard line). However, the throws to Restrepo on the sidelines or George to seal the game were dimes. Even the screen where TVD changed his arm slot was something I haven’t seen from Jaccuri.

He needs to develop his passing skills. If he does that (and that is mighty big “if”), he would be elite in this offense.

Special packages - yes
Accuracy usually doesn’t get fixed though

Refresh my memory. How many games before he loses his RS?
