He de-comitted from UCLA because of family issues.. most likely doesnt want to go across country... miami is closer which makes me feel that we have a good shot... plus his brother went to UM.

H-Back hmm interesting? I thought for certain he would come here as a defensive player.

Makes sense, why waste his talent on our defense, the new plan seems to be recruit more talent on offense than anyone else and out score teams.,

He is being recruited as an H-Back he said. UM has a great shot at him.

Porter reading the board?

Saw Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes ATH Jaason Lewis (6-2, 240) has #Canes in his top 5. UM likes him as an H-back (and likes its chances).

It gets Oregon a minimum of 10 wins a year, and they don't have a fraction of the talent in the Pacific Northwest that Miami has in 3 counties. Outside of VT and F$U, who else on the schedule has a defense that could stop a Miami offense loaded with 4-5 star SoFla talent 3 deep at all the skill positions? Just outscore your way to 10 wins a year and eventually you'll start getting some elite DT's that fit the system.

I'm not a fan of Mike Leach as a HC, but even I was intrigued by the possibilities of his offense with SoFla talent. He could win 10 games a year in the ACC with a defense made entirely of cardboard.

The fat man made his bones recruiting the Virginia area as an assistant Corch. There are tons of players there every year. He should try to reestablish inroads there.

I just did a quick check and Frito Lay has distribution centers in Virginia Beach, Richmond, and Winchester, VA. Dorito could kill two birds with one stone on his next recruiting trip.
