Kid could be a beast LB, his brother ran track at Miami so we have a good chance here

The fat man made his bones recruiting the Virginia area as an assistant Corch. There are tons of players there every year. He should try to reestablish inroads there.

No one from Virginia? Wow.

Everyone wants this kid to go over to running back or safety, but recently he said he was up to 240 in an interview. I might be one of a few but i hate big running backs and safeties, they usually come with slower reaction time. Plus with his recent big jump in weight, I honestly see him being more of a TE/Wing, much like it looked like Derreck Griffin was gonna be, or a edge rusher. Either way, this kid needs to be on the field somewhere. He is just a huge miss match for the big skilled areas of football.

EDIT: After looking at film of him I really wouldn't want to jump him into the edge rusher position. He doesn't look like an explosive fast twitch guy, which is really the one thing you need to play edge rusher. Especially with plays he makes on offense, they all seem to be long and something that allows him to get his motor going. When he gets it going though it doesn't look like he will be stopped. I think the coach knows this too cause you see that whenever he is in the backfield he is usually no closer than 7 yards to the line of scrimmage or they are in pistol. They put him in positions to basically get his engine going and to power through. I think his best position going forward would be TE/Wing.

I could see him being similar to Aaron Hernandez when at Florida. More of an H-back instead of a true inline TE. Great hands and adjustment to the ball in the air. Too big for safeties and too fast for LB's. I could also see him as a great LB as well. We do have a need at the LB spot in this class. Outstanding athlete, freak speed and agility for his size.

Lewis should be our top priority at TE with Archibald as the traditional in-line guy and Lewis being a move TE. Or let him play linebacker if he wants to play defense.

****, let him play on both sides of the ball like UCLA's Myles Jack. Just get this beast to Miami by any means necessary.
