J Williams

Jon Richt

Coaching career

Georgia
Richt spent the 2014 season serving on Georgia’s staff as a quality control assistant

Buffalo Bills
During his lone season in Buffalo, the Bills posted an 8-8 record

Miami
On January 2, 2016, University of Miami football head coach Mark Richt named his son Jon as the Hurricanes’ Quarterbacks coach for the start of the 2016 campaign

This right here ladies n gents is why Williams is not ready. If it was someone halfway competent or decent coaching up our young quarterbacks we may be having a different discussion.

It honestly seems to me like Richt is our coach prepping for the future where we have Cristobal, Dorsey, hopefully retain Diaz on staff. He starts to bring in the talent n discipline n next coach explodes on the scene. Gives us ten win seasons with solid exposure n respect n fear on the field (hopefully) But that's for another discussion another day.

Woah.

This is completely false.

Neither I or Kenneth have ever engaged in sexual activity with an animal.

Please delete your post.
I was referring to the gentleman you associate with who goes by the alias Donkey. Apologies for the misunderstanding friend.

Friend, Kenneth and I do not know anyone named “Donkey”.

And we most certainly do not perform fellatio on other males.

We are 100% heterosexual.

It seems the consensus among many and cmr is that the kid is not ready.

What I don’t understand is how is that possible?

He was a EE and cmr only had like 5 plays he runs so why the **** is he not ready, is he really dumb and can’t memorize 5 plays?

It’s like cmr will make up every excuse to keep trotting out malik

Exactly but we're still blaming Perry on not being ready and studying the most simplistic playbook in the entire ACC.

Whose the common denominator here?

Why burn Lingard's RS? He's only played in 4 games so far this yr. Homer & Dallas can get the job done, and you throw Trayone in there and you got plenty of talent at the position. Lingard knew there's a chance he may RS this year

You act like not burning his red shirt is going to keep him here for 4 years..it's not...he's 3 an out imho..either as a true junior or a red shirt sophomore.

Yep. Same frustration I feel watching Lingard on the sidelines. Find plays that showcase his strengths while he works on his weaknesses. It's not rocket science. If the guy doesn't block well, limit the amount of blocks he can potentially miss. Throw the man some screen passes. Get him the ball in space. ANYTHING is better than sitting on the bench watching Homer get caught by grandma.

Same RB coach ran Mark Walton into the ground and Travis Homer was that good.

and how hard could it be to pass block with this offense and OL...DL are always free...just pick one...lol

Homer and Dallas are just ahead of Lingard. Those guys are excellent backs. Lingard has a very bright future but he needs to get stronger and improve his contact balance.

its time to stop blaming the students when the teacher cant teach anyone

SMH!!! Yes he was a 5* player but not every highly recruited player goes onto the next level. I'm not saying he won't but he's only carried the ball 17 times and you've already got him leaving. Besides, the RB's aren't the problem, it's the scheme and trying to continue to run between the tackles all the time.
Go back to 2016, Richt had Walton and Yearby taking it out wide, he's got to start mixing it up and get the Offense into a rhythm. Some slants, RB Screens. I'm not sure if he avoids throwing over the middle because he doesn't trust the QB's or what?

Imo richt doesn’t want to start williams b/c the other qbs are just redshirt freshman. They will probably transfer out if he starts but if he delays them a year, they will probably stick around until they graduate then transfer and not lose a yr. we know jon richt recruits like Coach NoD

Sorry but dmoney while those 2 are good I dont Think they are good enough to keep lingard from receiving any carries at all even
Just a handful in a game... Deejay hasn’t been running that good the last 2 weeks either.
I was Disappointed in that 1 homer run that he got caught. No Miami starting rb should ever get caught like that out in the opening but I’m not going to sh*t all over his performance as he was literally the only guy doing anything on offense for much of the game

Why the **** do our QB clap to start the play. I had that ****. That's not NFL like. Why we not running fullback screens with choc he runs a 4.4 4.5 use him like we used Najeh back in the day.

That would require adding another play to the complicated play book

How about he’s not as good as Lawrence, Tua, or wasn’t handed the keys like DTR because guys in front at this stage are better

Cool, tell me the play where his blocking responsibilities would be "limited" as opposed to a different play design. Would he only have to block half of the defender?
😂😂
