Bringing in your closer in the 8th when you’re up 6-1 and after your starter went 7 is mismanagement. Then to trot him back out for the 9th after he gave up two home runs runs and threw 20+ pitches in the 8th is literally fireable.
we can only hope this year is the death blow.

to be fair, Miami has nothing close to a closer. the pitching staff is bottom of the barrel
To be fair, who evaluated and recruited every pitcher on the staff?
Get rid of at least Laz prior to the portal opening up.
Go get someone from the minors and get 10-12 top level portal players.
