That doesn't matter you can only take 25 a calendar year. I don't know why this is still brought up so much. It's clear cut.

This is why our roster turnover and kids leaving early ***** us. We need the Juniors to return to get up near the roster limit.

there has to be changes. the transfer portal will never allow teams to be at full strength thus opening the possibility for player injuries etc. think they should stick to the 25 new kids out of high school then teams are allowed to add the number of kids who transferred out.

I hope you read this VERY CAREFULLY.....Scholarship count isn't the main issue with getting back to 85 scholly's. It's all about your INITIAL COUNTERS per year.

You are correct. Don’t think the NCAA foresaw how this would all effect rosters. Big shock. Teams who have significant transfers out can fall into scholarship **** for years. You can’t make the numbers up. It’s also led to a lot of players in the portal with nowhere to go. Needs fixed.

Blue or gray shirting does nothing. The new rule effectively eliminates it.

Not true. Anyone who is on your team this year that wasn't on the team last year counts against your initial counter numbers.
