We ain't getting an experienced HC with a resume lol. You want experienced we'd get a guy like Richt. We had our chance with Mario and Mullen, but that shipped sailed. We will have to reach for the next HC unless Shanny can stack players which won't happen.

Normally I would agree, the general rule is you don't hire a coach without experience at a place like Miami. But there are and should be an exception to every rule.

If he wins a NC this season, he should be inconsideration now or next season. You can't ignore what he has done for LSU offense and particularly Burrow. Manny nor Shannon had the effect on the defense or one player the way he has had. There have been numerous scouts come out and say they projected Burrow to be a 5th rounder or later player last season, now he will be the likely number one overall pick. You don't just stick your head in the sand about that.

Burrow put in the work to become great. He was lucky enough to have this guy as his OC, too.
