Bowling Green and Dino, they look good too.

That game against Toledo will be pretty good.

I doubt our admin even knows who he is but I love Dino. would welcome him
The list of coaches that we should contact is a mile long before we ever get to the Miami guys. There's just so many good coaches out there. **** shame

There really are a lot more good young names out there then last time.

Yet, it seems our admin is stuck on retreads with UM ties.

Wonder if Blake actually knows anything about football? Doesn't seem like the type.

This really shouldn't be that hard.

Yep.

And I just gotta say it, the Butch hysteria in this fan base is absolutely ridiculous. People have whipped themselves into a frenzy over him and there are just so many better options out there IMO.

Houston up 20-0 at the half against a Vanderbilt team that beat Gary Pinkel's Missouri Tigers, 10-3, last Saturday.

Memphis is up just 15-13 at the half at home against Tulane despite being 30+ point favorites.

Memphis vs. Houston in two weeks.

Memphis cruised in the second half I believe.
Man I want either Fuente or Herman as the next HC

Hue Jackson continues to impress with the Bengals, as their offense looked terrific again on Thursday night. Looks like he's coaching himself into an NFL vacancy.

Herman's Houston Cougars beat Cincinnati, 33-30, to improve to 9-0. Their best defensive player, CB William Jackson, suffered a leg injury and didn't return to the game. Losing Jackson would be a big blow to their defense if he's sidelined for future games.

Fuente's Memphis Tigers were double-digit home favorites heading into tonight's game against Navy, but they're down 38-20 in the 4th quarter and just coughed up a fumble in their own territory.

Iowa State, which shutout Charlie Strong's Texas Longhorns last week, gave up 38 points through 3 quarters at Oklahoma tonight. Texas leads the winless Kansas Jayhawks, 24-14, at the half.

It was inevitable. People are going to pounce on a loss and knock other posters' preferred candidate as if the guy they want never lost a game in their life.

If Herman's Cougs lose to Fuente's Tigers next week, the same people will be writing him off, too. Prisoner of the moment mentality.

Since DMoney has said Ken Dorsey will be Butch Davis' hand-picked OC if he's brought back, it's worth noting that Cam Newton's having his best game of the season today. Panthers lead the Packers, 27-7, at the half. Newton's thrown for 209 yards and 2 TDs while also accounting for 39 yards and a score on the ground.

Good for KD.
I would still prefer a college guy with OC experience.
Someone like Eddie Gran or even the interim HC at USC (Clay Helton).

Clay Helton's brother, Tyson Helton, is the OC at western Kentucky and that offense is fun to watch. I'd welcome either of the Helton's at OC..

This thread had a more comprehensive list than Blake has ever had. Would be interesting to see what happened to some of the names on this list.

Since this thread we’ve had two head coaches none were on this list. Richt was relatively successful and lol at manny Diaz
