ITT We Discuss Possible Golden Replacements

Would be the first season in 4 years that I don't fly across the country for a game weekend and retain Hurricane Club status...and I know that may sound like chump change for a lot of you, but for a young professional in an expensive city, it's a big deal.

I don't think I've seen many mention it (sorry if I missed a thread about this), but if Al bolts for PSU why not consider Franklin?

For the record, I'd be more interested in Chud but I'd have Franklin slightly above Schiano and quite a bit above Mario.

I think Franklin would be great hire. He's had success in the toughest conference with 1.5 hands tied behind his back, can recruit, is used to much higher academic standards than he'd have to deal with here.

I'm just curious of everyone's thoughts...

There's a reason Cristobal was not offered a HC position after being fired from FIU. He was a hot name after his first bowl win, but his stock dropped dramatically after that horrible 3-9 season at FIU. He should learn under Saban for a few more years and then he'll be ready for a BCS HC job.

Oh, and people need to stop with Ken Dorsey for OC.

Does he have pillars and core values? Don't forget, we need those.

Not a single name mentioned on this forum yet is anything close to inspiring. We need to get someone ascending, not a guy coming back down.

Also, why are people mentioning Charlie Strong? We can't afford him. He turned down Tennessee and Arkansas last year and those schools are paying their second choices over four million per year.
Well Jon gruden isn't coming through the door so it might have to be an uninspiring hire in your eyes. Schiano and chud would be big hires imo.

If al golden leaves one of these coaches

1.Pat Narduzzi Michigan State DC

2.Greg Roman 49ers OC

3. Kirby Smart bama DC

4. Vic Fangio 49ers DC
