Pete thinks Ice and a couple of blue chip player mentors should coach the team.
 
Chud as HC/TE
Coley as OC
Cristobal as asst HC and OL

Recruiting class saved.....100x better staff.
 
Mark Dantonio (unrealistic but at least make the call)

Butch (realistic and probably very willing)

Chud (interesting but speculation if he wants to come back to college)

Greg Schiano (turned it down once and might think he can get better but I would still call)

Mark Stoops (could be an interesting choice)

James Franklin from Vanderbilt. Say what you want about him, but he has Vandy playing with an edge. I think he would get Miami football. Plus, he would keep the class together.

Miami will never touch Butch again. Petrino can't recruit. Chudzinski seems to have a lot of Mike Martz to him.

I would start with Mark Stoops. I would call McElwain, Curtis Johnson, Cristobal for interviews from the college ranks. I know this won't play well after that stupid video, but I would also give Willie Taggart a LOOOONG look.

Curtis Johnson - interesting name. He was the top recruiter for butch did a lot with the saints and has done fairly well with Tulane.

That is exactly how the AD will approach this. You cats with your Petrino and Butch fantasies are living in a dream world. Anyone that knows how this University approaches things, and the resources they are prepared to spend, know that his list is dead on.
