It's amazing what a big win can do for your image.

lol I mean you lost a lot when you said that stuff bout LSU. you dont ever think that maybe LSU looked like crap esp in that second half bc FSU was actually really good? we can hate them but be realistic. they have the most dominant win of the young season so far. Texas has the next best win imo (LSU was 5 and Bama was 3/4). they've won double digit games last year and blew out a top 5 team. you can't say with a straight face that LSU wasn't a test and duke Clemson miami are more of a test lol. come on bro. theres a level to being biased and this is it.
I said they are good. They're not the #1 team. They would get smoked by UGA. FSU does NOT have championship depth.

Stop this BS that they blew out a top 5 team!!! The preseason rankings don't mean ****!!! We won't know how good or bad teams really are until 1/2 the season is over. The CFP rankings don't come out until October 31st and for good reason. Too much speculation.

FSU is good enough to win the ACC, but let's not crown them in September.

right now, in 2 weeks, no one has proven more other than UT and FSU. UGA hasn't played anyone remotely good so we dont even know if Beck (who struggled prior to the season) is even a guy who will duplicate Stetson Bennetts play. along w that, they changed their OC (bobo lol) but without playing anyone, who knows how their O looks against a p5 team. I think miami has likely the fourth best win of this young season (FSU/Texas, Duke, Miami have the biggest wins of the year and then after that CU).

What does "get smoked" against Georgia even mean? Are you saying they lose by 30, lose by 20, lose by 10 or what? Vegas odds would probably have UGA as a solid 7 point favorite, if that.

Who even knows if LSU is any good? A&M beat LSU last year. Using your logic, we should be ranked higher than FSU.

You are completely projecting based on some pre-season polls.

Let’s beat UNC first please. They have got the better of us for a while. I hate those smug *****. We owe them some beatings.
You’re absolutely correct, sir! I know I was putting the cart before the horse, and given the fact that we have to go down Tobacco Road to get to the ACCCG, I have to agree with your assessment.

Watch recruiting if it continues. People will finally get it In their head Saturdays matter , not just money and slogans.
you refferring to Miami winning? only asking since they cant stop talking about fsu here

Let em talk , after this season it’ll be crickets.
There are those who say that Norvell built for this season. That this FSU team DOES have a depth problem. A lot of his guys leave or go to the NFL after this season, while Mario is building more through recruiting (he's using the portal, but not to the extent that FSU is).

FSU drops down after this season? Yes or no?

They were fully built in the portal , just like MSU was under Tugger. It’s not the longterm solution to building a team , just like free agency isn’t in the NFL. You build by recruiting and adding to fix holes where you’ve missed on kids or had injuries. To Norvell’s credit he’s weathered the storm using the portal and got a big contract but they’ll be staring at 6-8 wins next year.

New coaches can flip their rosters using the portal but eventually you need recruiting to be the lifeblood.

It'll be hard to duplicate the portal and fill every hole they're gonna have. Travis is gone. They lose at least 2 guys on their OL. The other 3 starters are 4th and 5th year juniors. Could lose 1-2 more. They likely lose Robert Scott, their LT, to the draft. So 3/5 starters. Both of their TEs that transferred in are 4th year juniors and could leave. Bell probably declares.

Doubt Coleman and Wilson both stay at WR. Wilson can't catch anything so he may have to return. Coleman is gone. Benson is gone at RB because shelf life in the NFL is so short. He probably should have declared last year.

Verse, Fiske, Lovett, Briggs all gone from the DL. 4 of their 2 deep. Probably 3 of them are starters.

Bethune and Lovett are gone at LB. Both starters. Jarrian Jones and Dent are gone at DB. Cyrpress is likely headed for the draft too. That's 3/5 of their secondary.

Ya.. they're gonna be really busy in the portal and I'm sure they pull some but that's a ton of holes to fill. Very risky to bank on hitting every single position. There's some young talent on the roster but really not much. Hykeem is a drop off from Coleman at WR. I like Edwin Joseph and Hussey at DB. I think they fall off at DL, LB, WR, QB, RB, and OL. At minimum. Mike might need to leverage this season into a new job (Alabama may call if Saban retires? Idk what other option there would be) or really risk it going downhill next year.

A lot different than cherry picking a couple on the OL, a WR, a few TEs, and a DB. That's almost a rebuild through the portal.

Not sure if it been mentioned and slightly off topic but this is the reason ucf needs to stfu about being as relevant as the big three. They averaged around 300k for their games and the Kent game pulled more eyeballs than the Boise St game???

Last years Texas A&M offence dropped 38 on LSU. I think they may have been over hyped to start the year.

When we play FSU this year it will be a dog fight, but I still think this team has a chance to pull it out. They showed a lot on Saturday. Obviously we will need to keep the momentum going, but this team feels different.

Holy Dogsh*t Batman!

Cribby was right. It's basically their entire front-line team. I'm sure they've got some depth up there at Tally, and I suspect that Norvell has been coaching their a$$es off, but if they don't go deep into the playoffs, there might be some questions asked up there.

I wonder if he has the goodwill pad that Mario has from his fanbase. If he takes his team to the title game and loses, Norvell will be able to get away with a lot because they'll think of him as a "Program Builder" in Nole-Land.

They haven’t been recruiting very well until this season so they don’t have great young talent. Travis has been a lottery ticket for Fsu. One in a million type ****.

I swear to God, if we got Pedo State in the Orange Bowl, South Florida would be lit as f**k.

Payback for 1986!

But if we go out and beat Clemson AND FSU?

Hory Sheet!
Would you rather….

Option A : Go 12-0, win the ACC and lose big like TCU vs UGA in playoff finishing 13-1

Or

Option B : Go 11-2 with a loss to FSU in ACC but split season series….and win vs Pedo State in the NY6 Orange Bowl finishing 12-2

At this time, probably Option B.

Winning big against Pedo State would be a bigger long-range program-builder than getting our sh*t pushed by the Dawgs in the Natty. We'd just be on the short end of the stick in some Miami/Dawg recruiting battles there, whilst winning big on New Years would enhance our draw status for recruits who would see a rising program.

Can we ever forget Mack humiliating us and our esteemed home grown coach crying in the damned stadium with the lights out. My god what a fu——— Nightmare.
