Before this game, Dawson seamlessly used the trick plays and Malicat. This game he absolutely force fed it. I hope this game was an outlier and he gets us back to being more balanced and attacking where we should be.
 
Dawson needed Beck to give him the clue?

Tell me he doesn't have someone in the booth telling him what they see.

Dude thought he was going to trick play them into submission and made the game closer than what it should've been.

Fletcher easily could've set a single game Miami record for yards because he was that hot.

I said it last year that Cam was changing plays. Made Dawson look better.

Not even going to mention the game prep in the weeks leading up to TAMU, but how do you step on that sideline and feel the elements and then watch the first deep shot Carson took to JoJo, who was wide open and see the wind push that ball 20 yards away from JoJo and you don’t adjust?

He would get a great run from Fletcher and the next 2 plays would be Malachi wildcat bull****.

You run the ball until the stop it.

He saved the season by getting creative with the offense and forcing teams to defend the perimeter but there’s no way he couldn’t see what everyone else in the world saw on Saturday. That A&M was struggling to stop the inside runs. Fletcher was literally the only one getting yardage and they gave him 7 fist half carries. When your starting running back is getting 7 yards a carry, you should probably keep giving him the ball and not worry about running trick plays.

I think he was trying a little too hard to mix things and not be predictable. There was one series where Fletcher broke a run down to the ten yard line. Next play was a Malachi wildcat run, second down was an incomplete pass, and third down Beck had to scramble for a couple yards. Inside the ten yard line Fletcher didn't touch the ball not once. And he was the one who got us down there. Now I do respect the fact that Dawson is owning up to his bull**** and saying he was wrong, but he has to do better than this. At least in the end he came to his senses and we got the win.

It’s important to call out the **** that is wrong while winning, is it not?

So if we lose and it’s because the OC is an idiot, then it’s ok? He tried to tell us that the constant A Gap runs were ok and that we didn’t know what we saw and then, voila, things changed during the last 4 games.
