I'm sure, but have you had someone tell you how something looks and been like, yeah I'm coming to see that **** for myself. Perspective is important and I wouldn't want to rely on another person's eyes for it in real time. I'm sure there's a reason he's on the field, but our spotters just didn't tell him they could land a jumbo jet in the lanes up front?
Dawson was thinkin': "I've got one more Toney trick play in me".
That's fair. I'm definitely speculating. It just seems like he either doesn't get pertinent feedback or doesn't listen. His playcalling throughout the year has been frustrating at times.you are speculating and i would think you are wrong.
he's on the field so that he can talk directly to the QB and others. being up there is overrated, that job can be managed by GAs.
Ironic. What's funny is that Mario took his hands off the offense post-SMU game. And the TAMU was clearly the game where Mario should've went to Dawson and be like "if you run the ball nonstop right now, we'll have another game where you can let it air out more."
First drive it was clear as day that we could gash them
I had a friend over watching who has not followed Miami closely this year and towards the end of the first half I was explaining to him how for a large portion of the year the play calling was to keep running it up the middle whether it worked or not. I told him how fans were getting so frustrated with that play calling and were making A Gap For Life shirts etc, but that they finally opened up the offense and moved away from just running up the middle and it worked. But now I did not understand why they were not calling more runs up the middle when it was clear that they were working vs A&M.Dawson was the human on earth that was not thinking what EVERYONE ELSE was already saying …. “They can’t stop the run … keep running”
AND $2mil on an OC....this is why you spend $4 million on a QB: so he can tell the offensive coordinator to call more runs
Know we had amazing offense last year, but he’s just not it. Glad we got the win, but no excuse
Yet waited till halftime to speak to Carson about ityou are speculating and i would think you are wrong.
