It sucks but don’t get down over a meaningless early October loss.

With the 12 team playoffs, losing a game won’t end your season. With our remaining schedule, it would take an epic collapse to not make the playoffs.

Definitely get your venting on but try not to let it get you to down. The reality, the teams that catches fire at the end matters more than an early October loss.
You think a Mario team is catching fire at the end? That man is non-combustible.

In general college football fans have been slow to accept that the 12 team playoff makes losses not matter as much.

11-1 Miami is getting into the playoffs.
And the rest of the schedule is fairly easy.

But the team did not look good. That’s the thing to be down on.
Even if that is true you now blew your loss and have to go 6-0

Ohio State lost last year and still won the title. What’s the difference between them and us? Except competent coaching, mentally mature players, a QB who doesn’t crumble after the first sign of adversity. Tell me what the difference is.
SEC + B1G is the difference.

Still holding out hope huh?
Did you watch the game?
You think we’re done losing? 😂
Trust me this team has at least one more regular season losses coming. We’ll lose to Pitt and perhaps SMU or some other lousy ACC team.
I think we finish 9-3, finish 5-3 in ACC play and miss the ACC title game as usual.
W/o Virginia AND Louie losses,Miami has been eliminated from ACCCG

Yes. A *4* team playoff.
Like you’re not understanding. ACC is a trash conference. If Miami doesn’t make the conference championship… they will find a way to leave them out. 3 teams will not make the playoffs from the ACC. Plain and simple

No we’re gonna be 10-1 going into Pitt. Win and in. And I’ll have to watch Narduzzi’s ugly *** get Gatorade dumped on him in 20 degree weather after ruining **** for us.

This is exactly the scenario we had last year. 9-0 with only GT, WF, and Syracuse to play. Win 2 out of 3 an you're in. We all know what happened next.

I'm hopeful this year is different, but if they play like that again, no way they finish 6-0 down the stretch. Be lucky to finish 4-2.
