It can’t be this easy.

ZERO excuses not to win 11 games this season...only the Louisville game is a toss-up. We play VT and FSPoo at home
Our secondary worries me against Louisville.

That’ll be their SB. Only big game at home for them, week before FSU, off of a bye. A lot that worries me based on what I’ve seen the last two decades of this program.

But TVD torched them with one foot out the door. **** feels different this year.

Has there ever been a better week 1 in Miami history?

1. Miami destroys Florida in the Swamp and look to have the three most important pieces to a championship contender: QB, Offensive Line, Defensive Line

2. FSU loses not once, but twice. But not just that, both of them were ACC games against unranked teams

3. Clemson and Virginia Tech lose

Should be a great game...they'll have home field, and it will be their SB, but we have everything to play for. ****, this is starting to feel like 20+ years ago!

The easy route is good If getting into the playoffs is the ultimate goal but if we want to win in the playoff we need tough games.

In the past I would sometimes get enamored with a particular offseason’s signing class because of the star ratings - such as with Taylor and Williams. Forgetting of course that this was based on future potential - that we weren’t likely to be getting five star production in year one. Because of the constant cycling of staffs and resulting attrition, we’ve had a number of years where on paper the most talented players were first or second year players.

This year we appear to have a fantastic, seasoned quarterback. And that’s coupled with four year wide receivers, an offensive line that is (mostly) quite experienced, and likewise for the defensive line. The Restrepro and Georges of the team are now fully realized players.

This is going to be fun to watch.

Their defense looked like dog**** (no pun intended) we roll them. Louisville and GT will be tougher challenges and eventually when we clash with Clemson in the ACC Championship.
Agree we should roll, but Mccord is probably the best QB we face this year.

Was gonna check out Wake Forest. Not worried about the game but at one point that Bachmeier kid looked like he had some promise. They run that mesh **** that can be pretty effective when it’s run well

There is one other “easy button” that is getting overlooked- UM no longer getting screwed by ACC referees. From ACC perspective, UM may be the only ACC team that makes the playoffs. Both Clemson and FSU burned a lot of bridges, while our AD has been trying to save the ACC. The conference has to have one flagship team. I think the ACC refs know the situation as well.

Miami's biggest opponent this year is Miami.

Only catastrophic injuries, ugly turnovers, and Mario brain-farts can derail this team considering our schedule and how we looked Week 1.
He's hired the brain-fart coach now. It also looks like he let Dawson coach. They didn't shut it down at the end of the half.
