once a p5 conference goes out its pretty much done. b10 has already decided to essentially cancel. theyre speaking with the other conferences this week to get a uniform decision.

well the surging numbers in the south and west didnt help make things easier but in the end its about liability. we all know it. universities aren't putting their asses on the line for a season however short of football.

But it doesn’t affect the kids! They’re immune to it! I doubt y’all would feel that way if a doctor told you hey your kid has a heart problem cause of COVID. Should’ve just shut down the right way when we had a chance like most other countries did. We’d be good by now.

Ain't it great this whole economy of ours is built on sand? College athletics the lifeblood of cities and towns FFS.

When the Sandusky s**t dropped at pedo state, everyone around here was "you can't kill the football program, you'll kill the town".

Maybe we need to get our priorities in line. I love watching college sports as much as the next guy, but maybe we need to get back to colleges educate kids and the NFL can pay for their own farm system.
 
If they get paid for their likeness they’re not amateurs...when that happens maybe legal liabilities will be different?

And no one thinks college students are going to die from this disease. The Marlins and Cardinals both had several cases, and no one on the planet was worried that any of them wouldn't recover. This thing is the flu.

The problem is these schools wanna pay coaches millions, they wanna spend millions on facilites but they don’t want to pay the players.. Dabo talking about after they graduate they can get paid.. ***** why don’t you get paid based on who graduates.. just ridiculous.

Looking back, this had to be the plan all along, so I hope the media is happy with themselves because this is 100% their doing.

All the players and coaches want to play, but you have the losers in the press doing whatever it takes to stop it all. What a total embarrassment.

These same conference presidents must now consider the possibility of their schools going forward without athletics. Because barring a vaccine or a favorable mutation of the virus, there is no reason to think that a 2021 season would happen either.
