It’s funny how different the “fans” feel about this program vs the two ex players I heard this week

this board jumps to each extreme. were not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. were just average to maybe slightly below. were pretty much right around where the experts had us at this point in the season (just went about a weird way of getting to it).

Manny just did a podcast with Jon Feliciano who very nicely said guys like DJ and Romberg should stfu.

Former players on this team have begun sounding like the '72 Dolphins.

Yup. If being a great player translated to being a great analyst and evaluator, MJ and Magic would be battling it out for GM of the year each season.

Miami-FSU game winner has won by 5 points or less in the last 5 meetings. This game is in Tally and will be no different. The game will be close. Respect your opponent. Stay off the sauce til' Saturday and stop sniffing glue.

Agreed. The problems with the team could have been masked if we were 7-1 or even 8-0, but that would not have told the story because we haven't played well most of the season and certainly not to a "Miami" standard. We can all point to missed field goals as one of the problems that has cost us games (and it has), but truth be told, if we were who we hoped we'd be, those game we lost (besides Florida) wouldn't have been close and never have come down to the kicking game. Losing exposes all the weaknesses and issues because the magnifying glass is out on everything. Perhaps some good can come out of this.

I hope the team turns it around and builds some momentum. They can start with a win this week.

we know manny is coming back at this point. the issues with his staff are evident (i cant stand enos but if he became less stubborn w his approach, he may come back). our best hope for recruiting is that we win out (as ridiculous as this seems right now). it wont make the issues with the team disappear but itll build some confidence for all involved. also, id take 9-4 in year 1 fo a brand new HC regardless of schedule.

Exactly and to think that just because they were great playing on the field that it can translate to better being coaches. We need to stop that mess!
 
#3 UGA loses at home to 2-3 SCar team... nobody ready to blow up Kirby Smart (even though I think he is not going to be the savior coach UGA is needing to win a chip). They'll ride with Smart much like they did with Richt. CotY award once or twice but will spend 15 years there and nothing to show for it.

Yeah, man. When you give most former players an avenue to share their opinions on the game, they have some objectively horrendous takes.
