It’s fair to question if Richt can win the big one. But..

Great point, D$. The Canes and Malik actually did exactly what I thought they would today. I think many diehards (my seriously dramatic, overreacting self included) have felt their doubts and negativity amplified by the two 4 game losing streaks we have had in the Richt tenure.

Edit: This is also a base that was spoiled with great teams and championships and what could only be described as a lost era the past 15 years. 15 years is a long time. We're starved and rightfully starting to wonder if those days are gone for good. Hope they can keep the momentum rolling into ACC play feels good to be back on a winning streak.

No, because those coaches were savages that would do WHATEVER it takes to win.

Richt hires his son, a bartender, a first time coach in Patke, a first time coach in Simpson, a first time coach in Rumph and refuses to give up play calling.
One bad year after Tebow and Meyer runs out of town claiming "health reasons."

toledo was was leading into halftime last year and we were leading by 7 in the 4th.

he two 4 game losing streaks. Lets see how you feel after this year

ok?

Richt has been coaching for 18 years. He’s not really a mystery. He’s far better than Golden and Shannon. We aren’t going to find out anything new next year.

Yep, program is already a mess
Program was a mess, granted. And it seems, is turning around. Compared to the last 15 yrs, I think were doing fairly well.
It feels like we're in the midst of the old cliche, you have to crawl, before you can walk!

Richt is a great man. He just needs a good oline coach and good oc/qb coach and he can win a title

I know we want and deserve to win. But Richt is doing it the right way. I ******* hate Saban and Meyer, they're just rotten to the core. ... We have an inside straight this year in the Coastal and in recruiting against FSU and UF. Let's take advantage of that, bring in more top talent, and start the next dynasty.

What do you think about meachum. He’s at Kansas as the OC. Used to be co OC at tcu and has Kansas rolling over people.

Maybe you aren't aware of the fact that Kansas got rolled by Nicholls State a couple of weeks ago.

..man it sucks to have a crappy coach. Watching FSU has given me flashbacks. Our last two coaches walk out of the Glass Bowl with a L.

Richt isn’t great but he’s no Taggert , Al or Wandy. I’ll take 10-11 wins a year and a choke job somewhere down the road

Man, some of you guys forget we were only favored by 12 points today. We more than doubled the spread and beat expectations. Are there things to improve? Of course. But we played better than most expected.

We played better than I expected, but my expectations aren’t too high after the last four games

That’s the thing. We were a program in the gutter after three bad coaches. Richt might not be the guy to get our next ring. But he’s the guy to get us back to respectability and he’s a great face to get us in this century with facilities. Richt set UGA up to win. If that’s all he does for us it’s a success.

You don't pay a dude $5Mil a year to be good...you pay them that much to be great. Sure, Richt is a championship caliber coach...Division championship that is, Conference Ship if he overachieves. Don't see Mark winning the big one for us.

Gotta start recruiting linemen. And there is no reason why we aren't getting a top 10 QB every year, he's got to do better.

People keep putting Jimbo Fisher in the elite savage HC class. He won a ‘ship once, with a Heisman QB who went 1st overall in the NFL draft. By FSU standards he was average. One nice run with Manuel and Winston. Before and after, 3-4 loss seasons.

The current state of FSU football is directly attributable to Fisher. Taggart is a corch, for sure, but these are Fisher’s players.

These 15 years are going by waaay to slow. But it felt like those 19 years before then went like a blink off an eye

I was thinking the same thing after the game. Pastor Richt doesn't lose games like this.
