Rumors started circulating weeks ago based on the 'speculation' that Manny's buyout decreases by $2 million on December 1. That is it period. There is no "insider" information from anyone that actually knows the plan. Only ones in the "loop" are really Frenk and his two advisors.

Fair enough I suppose. I just fail to see the point off Manny being here one more day than neccessary. IF they already decided he is done and you save the two million today I don't understand why you would drag it on. JMO

The new AD has nothing to do with manny and what happened during his tenure.
IF it's true that the University has already decided to move away from Manny they should do it before the new AD is in place so that he has a clean slate. He doesn't have anything to do with Manny and just concentrate his time on hiring the new coach
The president can fire Manny just as he fired Blake.

not going to happen until AD is announced first. Then after that if it doesn't happen it's because we have not secured a HC replacement. Common sense sometimes can fill the info gaps. The clock is ticking for sure.

I agree. Like we’ve never heard the line… I’m the HC at…. I have a huge game this weekend and that’s all I’ve concerned about!!

I never really understood the "distraction to Mario" part.... I mean no one is asking him questions about potentially coming to Miami??? It's just one big hush hush session till the game is over??? This post isn't aimed at you , just the reasoning of the distraction....
They have journalists and social media in Oregon right?? Aren't they wanting a scoop as well if they get the "true " story before anyone else??? Or just be the one that "gets it right"?
I'm sure Mario is getting his fare share of questions about Miami on the daily up there . That's part of the coaching game, dealing with everything thrown at you...
 
Am I the only one who feels like dragging their feet on the AD hire is to insure the new AD won't have time to fire and hire a new coach in a timely manner, thus sticking us with Manny another year?

The job isn’t open. So I doubt he’s getting questions.

I understand... That's why I said it's a possibility of many... Trust me I have no clue at all what's true and I mean NO CLUE AT ALL!!..LOL!!...
I'm just watching along like others hoping this gets done in the best possible way for the team it can..... Anything I write is purely for entertainment purposes only.... :D ..... Come to think of it they should make that a permanent disclaimer for everyone... :ROFLMAO:

thought we were suppose to hang on to Manny so Mario doesn't have to answer any questions.

that's wild when you think about it. a coach that isn't even here yet already has that much power.
