Isaiah Horton and Jaden Harris

good to hear on Harris.. was thinking he's a skinny kid that needed weight

Do you think Harris could get some burn this year?
Special teams maybe, but other than that, barring injuries, I seriously doubt he plays any CB this year. Yeah He has the size but that’s not enough to play as a freshman. One of his coaches stated that he’s kinda stiff. Not saying he can’t play CB but wouldn’t be surprised if he moved to safety.

Yea I thought I read that about the stiffness. But I thought he tested pretty well laterally. I could be wrong. It’s always difficult for freshman CBs to come in late and make an impact right away.

Question for the guys who follow this -- are there any good examples in the last decade of true freshmen who showed up in the summer and started on Game 1? I know some kids get looks and get added to the rotation late in the season. Just wondering who has popped virtually instantaneously recently, especially who takes a spot (as opposed to being the only option due to injury).

That Harris picture was an eye opener. Looked more ready before first year than Couch in his 3rd.

Just watch caneville episode 6 & 7 you'll see both of them. Jaden even came up to B.Street to let him know he watches the stream.

The picture of him floating look like a screen capture from the caneville video. It's Jaden Roland Smith Rumph and the DB Luke Evans in the scene choppin it up.

Not expecting much out of either in year 1 but if they depth and special teams that would be a win. Excited to see them compete.
