Here's what people have to understand, even if joe brady came here, the headcoach still has to be the one that's instilling the mental toughness in the team, if joe brady came here and the players dont respect him as a man, its still, not going to work, this is why UM has only been Great when we had real generals leading the program, not puppets. Its comical to here or see the headline "manny diaz has the full support of the a.d. flake james", as if he's somebody, if a loser has the full support of another loser, where are the wins coming from.

That majority fans would consider to be a great hire?

seems like no matter what candidate is mentioned, many think it would be a ****** hire

Fvck you if you say Brady

Vince Lombardi for running game coordinator (his passing stats were not good).

First off this is cis, so no matter who is hired the majority of folks here will moan about it. 2nd, imo it doesn't matter who is hired as the person above stated correctly.. Our head coach is not respected by the players in that locker room. So the quitters, and going thru motion boys will still be the same. The disease will not heal until a true qualified experienced HC is brought in. But that is all my personal opinion

That the majority of fans would like, yes. If you add in the trolls and white noise contributed by the perpetually miserable, no.

The question is would any legit OC want to come here
That's just such a ridiculous viewpoint. Why would a legit OC want to come here? Recruiting base that gives access to some high level talent. A high profile program that gets national attention even when not playing well (and thus makes for a good stepping stone). Good money. The possibility of being the OC who turned around the offense of a storied program after they had a historically bad offense.

The idea that no legit OC would want to come to UM is nonsense.

Come on... the guy who Saban wanted was canned after 1 year because he was just too mean... he, he , he yelled at them and used bad words... awww poor kids.... in other words the kids are a bunch of primadonna punks and the expectation is so high that if you cant perform a miracle your career is going to take a hit or maybe you actually do a great job but Manny has another disappointing season and is canned and then you lose your job anyways. In one breath you guys all admit Manny is on the hot hot hot seat and in the other you think some up and coming OC is coming to this **** show. Manny is only going to get some one who owes him or the program a favor or someone who could care less about coaching for more than 1 year. Miami right now is a huge risk for anyone coach. NO online and NO QB. If you dont think that matters to coaches who think they will have 1 year, your fooling yourself. And SFL has lot of talent but it also has so many entitled head cases that have been perverted by horrible parenting that its as much of a disadvantage as it is an advantage. Your going to get the stars but your not going to get those dogs of old.

What a silly take on the Enos firing. He was not fired because the was too mean or used bad words. To suggest THAT is the basis of his firing, and not the fact that he coached a HISTORICALLY bad UM offense, stubbornly refused to use a scheme that actually made sense with a very young, not so good OL and instead compounded the offense's shortcomings with his scheme and play calling, is nonsense. A young, up and coming OC can come in here and be the guy that turned around Miami, a nationally-prominent team, from a sub-.500 team that struggled to score points all year, to one that ends the season with 9 or even 10 wins given our schedule.

Of course Manny is on the hot seat...and he should be. Part of the reason being the historically bad offense. Making the right OC move can make an huge difference. As for no OL, that's oversimplification. There is raw talent on that line, talent that can be worked with, especially when they are put in a favorable situation instead of asked to block for slow-moving play action plays all the time. The line's entire 2-deep had ONE junior, no seniors. We had TWO TRUE FRESHMEN, and a Redshirt Freshman, playing starting roles on the line. Will they be great? Unlikely. But the Oline has more talent that a LOT of the OL out there that performed far better than ours did.

If a majority of you like a hire, I am pretty sure I am going to fade y'all...you all like every **** hire we make before realizing he was a clown all along.

You got to take the orange and green lenses off dude. Enos lost control of the team because they hated him. They hated him because he was was an authoritarian like Saban is. You dont go from your best offensive game of the year, most QB touchdowns in a game ever to losing to Duke, FIU and La Tech unless the TEAM is in a tail spin. This team beat the best teams they played and should have beaten Fl and lost to the teams that shouldnt have even been able to compete with them. You can focus on the Ls but those Ws explain the situation as much as the Ls do. This fantasy that the Oline is talented is pathetic. It was horrible last year and it was horrible this year. Our biggest recruits have turned into to the biggest flops. NO coach is going to look those guys and not think they could cost him his job after whats most likely going to be 1 year tryout.
