Mike Leach and Miss. St. is the closest at 73% pass/ 27% run and they were the only team over 70%. There were 6 teams at 60% - 69%. So 7 out of 130 teams were over 60% pass. Vince Lombardi can once again rest in his grave.Congratulations fellas you’ve outdone yourselves.
OP is institutionalized and finishing his third week on clozapine, and you’re actually taking his porsts seriously.

Those are institution pants, and of course in the institution you can only wear slides, or shoes with no laces.
And as far as his 80/20 assertion, it literally takes 20 seconds to google P5 passing statistics for last year. And for most teams, it’s not that far from 50-50 passing-running attempts per game. Don’t believe me? Look it up yourself.
There are some outliers, but if you look at the top 20 to 25 teams, for those teams, passing attempt percentage rarely exceeds 55 to 60%, so offenses are still fairly balanced, even though the percentage of passing has increased over time, it’s nowhere near the ridiculous assertion of 80–20.
They may need to add some mood stabilizers to OP‘s treatment regimen.

Only 45 teams passed more than they ran last year. Out of 130 FBS programs. Like you said, out of the 45 teams, only 7 passed over 60% of the time.Mike Leach and Miss. They watch 2 teams (Canes, Cowboys) and listen to Skip and whatever other idiot yell takes and assume it's all trueI’m convinced at least half this board doesn’t actually watch football.
And the rest believe 60% of the time a halfback pass in the snow works everytime.I say like 70% dont outside of miami teams of course..Then 25% of the remaining 30% doesn’t know what they’re watching
I know it’s frustrating being so slow and scared but anger isn’t the answer… and neither is porstingyour so lost in your simple minded thinking that to me a lot of you are pathetically incapable of understanding a very basic concept.
I don’t even think a lot of them watch Canes football besides highlights of 25 year old gamesThey watch 2 teams (Canes, Cowboys) and listen to Skip and whatever other idiot yell takes and assume it's all true
Yea... ***** those 25 yr old games... I'm more a 30+ guy myself... Lol..I don’t even think a lot of them watch Canes football besides highlights of 25 year old games
Maudes, its time.I’m convinced at least half this board doesn’t actually watch football.

I remember just in 2018 the complaint was that the offense was basically run, run, pass, punt.Ironically you ran the ball to set up the throw now it’s the opposite but you rarely get the runs you need and go right back to the pass. Now all you self righteous indignant creeps don’t get the concept that the length size and speed of the modern football player is a logical answer to this but your so lost in your simple minded thinking that to me a lot of you are pathetically incapable of understanding a very basic concept.![]()
