Is the Eligibility Chart correct?

excellent work. this should be pinned. eventually there will be "how many can we take in 19" threads. this should be the first thing used before the early departures and attrition discussions begin.

Looking at the chart-scholarship players only is 80.. The senior nbr is 17. The junior nbr is 16. The soph nbr is correct, 17. The frosh is correct at 30. So if the chart is correct with all players accounted for, we are 5 short and that's terrible. There's no reason why Richt, staff and UM should not be at a minimum of 83-84 right now.

Undoubtedly, players will get hurt and miss the season. Other players will transfer. Looks like the football team will probably play around the low 70's when the season starts unless they sign some additional guys in the coming months.

uh by my count (which includes LS Jordan Butler and RB Crispian Atkins who were walkons that received scholarships last year) we are at 82. And we had 3 scholarship spots left in the 2018 class - and if you haven't forgotten we were still recruiting Coburn, PS2, and TC. So literally if we would have gotten those 3, we would have been maxed out on initial counters and the 85 roster limit. They did a very good job with that.

secondly, for next season we lose 18 seniors (including Butler the LS) which means we will only have 21 spots available in the 2019 recruiting class if No juniors/sophomores transfer out or declare for the draft. However I fully expect to lose at least like 6-7 guys due to attrition which would raise the number needed to 28....which just happens to be the limit to our 2019 initial counters.

Everything is working out great dude. We are adding a **** load of talent, and by next season we need guys that shouldn't be on scholarship here like Knowles, Finley, Milo, etc to all transfer out. Then when we take a class between 25-28 we will have excellent depth throughout the depth chart, and the elligibility chart will look how it should being The U.

This wasn't a 2 yr rebuild, I don't think some people realize how **** Al Golden left us just because the elite talents in the 2016 class were so good....but everything else was complete ****.

@Stefan Adams can you find out if Butler and Atkins are currently on scholarship?
also, update the eligibility chart so its accurate like this. Andrew fixed most of it, but didn't finish.
 
I added a depth chart (under football), obviously most is 100 speculative.
 
Thank you for all of the hard work on the roster. What about the OL grad transfer from LSU?

Thought it might be time to bring this post back to life. Truly one of the best I’ve ever seen on the subject

Orange = New Initial Counters for 2018 Season
Blue = Players likely Declaring Early for NFL
Red = Players that need to step their **** up
Pink = Who the **** knows if he's on scholarship, but he should NOT be.
